@stevehannah Nope. The Entertainment Level has no entertainment on it anymore. Food Court is the only thing that has remained. IMAX is gone. Games of the Gods is gone. You can, however, walk into Mandalay Bay's mall from here now.
The reason why I was asking this was because when I got there for the first time I forgot to buy the chips. I was with some other guys as a tour group so I could only be there for one night. I might be able to go back to Veas next time and when I do I sure hope I get to stay for longer than that. Sure, still I wish there are few other people I know but back then I was with my family who didn't give a damn about these.
@race1717 All casino has cashier cage it's where you go to cash your tickets from slot machines or poker chips, that's where you can buy poker chip how much you want.
I'm staying there for four days in January for the AVN awards, does anybody have any suggestions on what they would see in that hotel that's worth the time and money, and also how are the clubs?
that ride actually used to be part 1 in a trilogy of attractions. The second one being a sort of talk show about the events that had a lot of 3d stuff to it. The third and final was shown on an IMAX screen (kinda new at the time) it was more of a movie than anything. Also i believe there used to be a boat ride that took you around the hotel/casino. Not sure if they took it out.
When you enter the elevator in part 1, if the hydrolics were operating, it used to actually feel like you were falling down an elevator shaft. They were always having trouble with the hydrolics breaking down and the elevator ride is nothing without them.
Originally, guests were supposed to check in then take the Nile boat ride to their inclinator. It was so slow and guests wanted to get into their rooms, so they made it into an amusement ride. They added fog machines to make the tour more interesting. Instead, the fog would get too thick and trigger the sensors that would stop the boats, stranding the guests. The ride was finally taken out in 1995.
@Roadsidepictures I worked there as a teenager, and yeah..the hydraulics were always messing up on the elevator ride. But there's not much the ride attendant can do, as they only push a button for it start moving. Also weight balace matters.

What's a cashier cage? Speaking of chips, am I only able to buy few or can I buy enough to fill a poker briefcase?
