I miss Jason Griffin. I loved the Sonic voice he had.It was just so perfect for Sonic. Smith is more of a deep sounding Sonic compared to Griffin. I love Sonic's laugh at the "Baldy McNosehair" parts. But they need to make new cutscenes fro every world. The cutscenes in this game got a little redundant, telling Sonic the exact same thing he's already heard. That's the only bad part about this game, the cutscenes. The music excels any other Sonic game soundtrack. Sega should make Sonic colors 2. That would be epic.

@shadowschaosblast1 They're with different backgrounds cause you can choose which of the next two worlds you can go to next after the 1st one. The scene is the same just layered differently depending on if you chose sweet mountain or starlight carnival next. That's why.

2- a group that wants Jason 20%

i think both Jason and Roger are great voicing sonic and they both prove/show his personality so i like both of the 50-50! plus sonic in SA2 sounded like a kid (although he was 10) but the voice just didn't match with the personality!

Haven't played this yet, waiting for it through Gamefly. But based on the vids from Youtube it looks like a great game. Even though I'm not that fond of the new voice actors for them, I believe I will learn to like them. They seems suitable for the both of them. Although I do seem to recognize the voices from smokes that I have watched. Does anybody know?

I love this game. It's a light, humorous, adventure game where you don't run into fishing, blowing creature's heads off, extremely bad controls, time paradoxes, werewolves, and swordfighting.I like sonic unleashed or black knight as much as the next guy, but it's nice to have a game that isn't based off some weird gimmick. I like Sonic color's cute and funny tone, and even though I praise SA2 for it's darkness, I still enjoy playing something not as dark once in a while.

If not for Sonic Adventures, I would not be Sonic fan like at all. And this is what you do to me? To Us? Well, I assume that the "Us" is very small group of people who are advised to not play Sonic games anymore. If you say that your previous games were mistake, then you say that "Us" being fans is also a mistake.

I think that we will not scream like the other fans did in last years and we will just disappear... Like you intended. But this thought makes me sad and makes my life less meaningful.

i love Sonic and the voice actors don't really matter that much to me, but i just have to say that i don't think that Ryan D. was the best voice actor. don't get me wrong, he did a very good job as Sonic, it's just that his voice sounded to "average" for my taste. what i mean is Ryan sounded like he was using his speaking voice rather then changing his vocals, but with jason and Roger they change the tones of their voices for Sonic completely and that's saying something

@martooxxx It's absolutely perfect. I love the cartoony route this series has taken. Complaining about Sonic being too cartoony is like complaining about Rayman being too cartoony, or Mickey Mouse being too cartoony. If I wanted something that wasn't cartoony, I'd play Fallout or GTA.

I'm sorry, but Roger Craig Smith, a voice actor acclaimed for his performance as Ezio from Assassin's Creed 2 and winner of the 2010 VGA awards, is more than an adequette replacement for Mr. "real superpower of teamwork" Ryan Drummond.

Look at Grim fandango; that game was released a full year behind Sonic Adventure, and there's not a bad performance in the bunch. Look, I know you fans have nostalgic feeling towards the original english cast, but you can't deny that they leave very much to be desired. There is a way to portray an animated speedy blue hedgehog with an attitude well, and Roger Smith does it nicely.

Sonic, for once in his life, sounds his age,

Tails sounds more an eight year old like it should've always been,

Eggman still has Mike Pollock voicing him,

And well, I like it...

Oh, and PS, the extra wonky sound effects aren't needed. That's the only thing I find bad about it.

im not that kind of fan, i found absolutely nothing to complain about colors, except... i mean, i like the cartoony feel of the series and i hated when they tried to make it realistic in 06 and all that, but there were parts in colors that were too cheesy, to the point of being annoying. like the stretching one (remember kids, always stretch before jogging!) or pretty much every single one of cubot's lines. I'm just saying, they should have been toned down.

@martooxxx Well the cartoony style didn't bother me that much, considering Sonic is kinda cartoony (it's a blue hedgehog fighting a guy who looks like an egg) but I can see how that can be annoying to some.

However that person that I was talking about claimed that he encoutered the same problems as 06. He claimed that the gameplay was broken and flawed, yet praised the gameplay of 06. He even defended the beastlity in 06, claiming that Sonic is a human.
