  • Hook that thing up to some dubstep :P

  • Cool machine for demonstrating the wave patterns. Did you make it?

  • @AlexBlackRecords I'm glad you like it, but I did not make it. It was in an art museum here in Tokyo.

  • Good video. More Tesla tech in "Wonderful electric energy" by HorizonDelta ;-)

  • now the dandruff had taken over completely

  • it looks like little people raving xD

  • thats number 1 on the coolest things ive ever seen

  • look they're little people, dancing supersonically!

  • like haarp

  • @VooDooU22X

This is about as related to HAARP as the ocean is. That's to say very little actual relevance.

  • @VeninGriffe .. I disagree ...smartass!

  • This is relevant to my interests

  • I AM POWERFULLY INTERESTED.

  • This is awesome.

  • I saw that on my wall when i was on mushrooms

  • @mastermoviewatcher LOL shrooms ftw

  • Cool.

  • It is cymatics.

  • wooooooooooow cool, ultimate perfection

  • itchy pubes..

  • Its really cool to see what is happening on the inside of us.

    Thanks

  • domo arigato Mr Roboto

  • NO!

  • The noise at 00:21 is HIGH

  • It's probably how we pick things up.

  • this looks exactly like the energy fields on a sub atomic level.

  • you've seen?

  • Why yes, I have.

  • i am strongly interested

  • was anyone else thinking of a new type of tv? or a holodeck? lol!

  • That was pretty cool

  • it looks like the opening ceremony for the beijing olympics. lol

  • is that bass?

  • oh wow nice video wave sound

  • thats like soo cool

i just went to the liberty science center and they had something like that

  • A complete song is too busy. It sounds stupid but there is a "simplicity" to sound. It's when you overlap and/or manipulate one frequency it gets "lost" I've tried it and the result is a very dis-organized formation.

Example, listen to ONE person talk, simple. Have 20 people talking to you at once, you'll lose your mind ;)

  • simple standing waves.

  • ham die alle was geraucht?:)

  • i wonder what would happen if u played a song with bass haha

  • HOLY FUCK YO

  • Looks like the early stage a life-form (with sound effects to match) in the format of a sped-up video recording.

  • lol, this is in an art museum? o.O

over here its in the science museum xD

  • wow that shit looks like a bunch of rats dancing..haha

  • looks like an alien rave

  • well said angelus

  • Wow if this is what notes do to Styrofoam

then imagine what music does to your brain

or your body for that mater

    This makes me think.

If sound can create animation then it would make sense that the ancient Egyptians said that the creator made different aspects of the universe just by speaking.

  • ???

Sound makes things move because sound is movement, you dolt. What you know as sound is just your ears picking up vibrations from the air.

  • jackass

  • perhaps he did a bit of farting too, you can make some pretty interesting sounds that way

  • gross

  • coooooooooool

  • what the setup there...is it just a sheet of metal laying on a speaker?

  • not at all: the speaker is on the right, at the end of the clear square "tube" in which the balls are dancing

  • Oh Woooooow man,I'd like to lay on top that thing naked.

  • lol

  • i wanna get those tunes on my ipod :D

  • is that water?

  • nope; they're little styrofoam balls in air.

  • I also got shivers , wow those tones and frequencies are amazing..is there any way i could get them :[

  • have you prove it w some music like a dance o chill out to see how looks like?

  • no; I could not choose the music. :-(

  • Thats really wierd but really cool and there is my shiver

  • I got shiverss!!

  • ARRGH UGHHH!! *shivers* It's cool but it makes me squiirrrrmmM! Shizzle!

  • Hahahaahaha!! That's a great reaction! After seeing your comment and watching again, I can see what you mean...

  • awsum :) love stuff like this... heh right @ the start they look like a thousand picmin (if ya know the game lol)

  • good point

  • this was at NASA space center houston

  • How might I run this experiment in a classroom/lab environment? What would I need? I am a 4th grade teacher and we are embarking on a science unit on the physics of sound - this would be a great experiment to run.

  • I think you need some glass tube/pipe or anything with U-shaped profile, some strong speaker, laptop with SineGen software (waves, frequencies) connect it all togehter (glue the tube to a speaker?) and toss in some powder (salt, sand?) ... that's all I guess...

  • I just saw your comment and the reply below. In this model, the waves are made visible with little styrofoam beads, like one might find in a bean bag chair.

The speaker automatically went through different tones, but I think it would be more useful for your students if they got to affect the input signal.

  • Thats cool :)

  • wow.
