  • I wana fuck it up. im full of insecurity.

  • that kid dancing between derek and jaime in the striped grey polo looks like he's seizing or dancing like a member of the peanuts gang.

  • I've seen them twice, and the crowd was always disappointing, a bunch of insecure pretentious hipsters all wearing striped clothing just standing there while me and my friends (and only the people I knew) danced and sweated the night away.

You'd think that a band such as tilly and the wall would bring out a more energetic crowd, and the fucking hipsters would stay home.

Does this generation feel anything at all other than insecurity?

    "I wanna fuck it up!"

  • @m0bi I know this is one year old... nevertheless, what scares me most is that I was really insecure when younger. and the one of the only few moments I wouldnt few insecure would be at gigs, shouting my favourite songs. I really don't this of "ok. lets pretend Im not enjoying this. Im too good to enjoy anything. I must pretend Im not eager to start jumping like a little kid".

Gosh! it has been 10 years since then and I still feel like a happy child at gigs. So, I would make company to you.

  • @twoevileyes feel.... (i need a rest)

  • I want to be there right now :(

  • i want to fuck it up!!!

  • Old tilly > new tilly

These songs had so much more to them than just sound.

There's an emotional connection made (no, not implying emo music) that makes them so much better than stuff you hear on the radio.

It depresses me that they're changing their sound to mainstream.

  • mmm... aybe

so far each of their CD's and or Eps have songs i love and songs i hate. and although "O" isnt out yet i do like the song Cacophony.

ill agree that beat control sound very mainstream.

its the same story for almost every other band ever, ju kno? like "oh but they were so much better way back when"

  • well I have to agree with how the music used to be better, but i haave a hard time saying that i DONT love the new tilly and the wall. They just have a new sound. They said themselves that they are just discovering and toning their own style into the songs, and i can see that. It is just that i enjoy the sounds of just their voices and feelings. The only thing they are adding is recording quality and background music to their "sound"

personally, i like their old recordings more, not their sound.

  • It's kind of inevitable. R.E.M. went through the same thing on the way from Murmur to Green, Out Of Time, etc. But listen to the old and the new each on its own merit, and both are good stuff in their own way. Nothing wrong with that.

  • ahh i havent seen them in over two years. they are soo good though!

  • i've seen tilly twice and they've always been fun! i hope they do something awesome like this next time i see them.

  • p.s. kianna marry me.

  • and i feel so alive.

  • their shows are always SO fun and i love that they always encore with this song

  • daaaaaymn, i need to go to one of thier shows.

  • i love how much fun Jamie is always having <3

  • that looks fun/this band deserves all the success that comes their way

  • is that at the glass house

  • "Clip of Tilly and the wall playing live in NYC at the Bowery Ballroom on 6/14/06. "

    doubt it
