This is pretty funny. I love hockey (Carolina Hurricanes), and some people can't take a joke. I've learned that stereotyping fans is the only material most hockey fans have. I'm from Raleigh, so apparently to Pens and Buff fans I'm an inbred redneck, nascar loving, uneducated, overall wearing, etc. etc. etc. kind of guy. @poopeeps I live in Victoria B.C. and I laughed so hard when I saw this. I was in the Riots filming footage with my video cam too. Not making light of a horrific incident...but really sometimes you need a laugh, and this was priceless.
What a terrible city... the fact that every journalist and professional is saying that the riots were caused by people who were not hockey fans simply proves that the city itself is full of uneducated degenerates.
@imaTANK16 The fact that you call Vancouver a terrible city means you clearly have never been there. It is a beautiful city with a lot of amazing and friendly people. Sure there were probably hockey fans who participated rioting, but a select few do not represent the city as a whole. I would prefer to focus on the thousands of people who helped to clean up the next day and who denounced the hooligans for ruining the game for everyone else.
