@Malachi01 i read in game informer that their going to have a mode known as King of the Hill which two fighters online fight in front of spectators also online players and who ever wins has to fight one of the spectators and so on and so on. this also includes and rating system which spectators rate the fighters.

Well boon never revealed how many characters would be available off the bat but yes I'm sure you have to beat the game to unlock some of the characters.
