this is the jetfire that started it all for me and made me fall in love with jetfire he's not my favorite back in the 80's bumblebee stole my heart but jet fire is like number 2

when I got both jetfire and prime and when my dad got me armada unicorn for xmas he was disappointed that prime was'nt bigger than unicron even combine with jetfire though for some reason he sat through the last for episodes of armada to see his true size (i was wanting to record those episode before youtube became popular)

actually in armada and in energon a lot of the robots combined(they mainly were two, one formed the top and the other formed the bottom) and when they did that they screamed "POWERLINX!" and would combine

Probably been said before, but you can connect Jetfire's arms in alt mode in a way that gives a lot of room in the shuttle bay, but gives him massive undercarriage kibble.

The unicron trilogy was kinda weird phasing in and out for me whereupon I always seemed to miss everything past the 3 third wave of toys for each series, thus I never owned Jetfire. I am however the proud owner of not 1 but 2 Timelines Astrotrains! I actually find that kinda funny though, retooling/repainting Prime's magic mushroom into a Decepticon, cuz now he can link up and have purple pants made from an enemy. Iunno, just seems extra cruel on top him always being used as a transport.

Oh well, could be worse. I could not own them at all and have to pay 3x sticker price, so I guess that's alright.

ah i dont have an overload. the repaint overload was actually called ultra magnus. it was blue like my repaint jetfire and thew's repaint optimus. i hinted at it for christmas once. i didnt get it

jetfires sheild actually clips on to optimus' chest in powerlinx mode. it looks a better

Yeah man, I think G2 Megatron is about the same size as Jetfire! With Prime combined he's WAY bigger. I'll get him back to you shortly. :)

Actually, you can give him some space in his 'cargo bay'. The forearms have a hole and post that link up, so they can join them UNDER the shuttle, rather than inside.

Another awesome edition of awesome-filled awesomeness liberally coated in awesome sauce ;) It took me a while to get the appeal of the whole Armada/energon thing; some of the toys really do still defeat me (Cyclonus!??!!!?! What the hell is that?!?!?!), but there are gems scattered througout the lines (the Megatrons, Scorponok, Unicron). This combined Jetfire/Prime is stunning; easily one of the finest primes available. Oh yeah, awesome!!

i quite liked cyclonus but im steadily going off megatron. i also hate all of transformers cybertron since it was rubbish and it doesnt fit the rest of the unicron trilogy continuity. (like how they have no recollection of sideways, hotshot has regressed to the hot head he was in armada and they are hiding from the humans despite having an alliance with them in energon). oh and they murder the classic transformers theme song. sacralige
