I really want to do this to my iphone case, but not with a silcone case. I'm thinking of using a hard case but the studs won't go through? What do I do?!!?!? Help, asap!
@nikkirawrsx3 well i really wouldn't know how to pierce through a hard case, but i have seen other people glue down the studs on to a hard case. Just bend the prongs down beforehand and then use some strong glue like the e600 to glue down the studs on to the case. I hope this helps :)
@kookai121 I understand the concern, but they really do not scratch the ipod at all. When studding the case it leaves this gap in between the prongs and the ipod so they don't even touch the ipod. Also, if you press them down correctly then theirs nothing to worry about :)
Great job! I was looking for an easy how-to tutorial and I'm glad I came across yours. I'm not very crafty but I think I can manage this based on the instructions in your vid. Your case turned out really well, I love it! Btw, did you use silver or gunmetal studs? Thanks!
@ZainabTalha95 good idea, but honestly if you press all the studs down you don't have to worry about your ipod getting scratched. I was worried about that too before I did this, but my ipod is perfectly fine. Also, you can always buy that clear protecting sticker and that could protect it even more too :)
HAHAH I LOVE THIS! ESPECIALLY THE BOYS PLAYINGGG

it looks good, but having the case is just stupid becasue it would get more scartched from the prongs than if you didnt use a case...

Hey hunny. Good job.
I have an iPhone 4 so I didn't know if I would have to use the same sized studs. Your one is an iPhone 3G I'm guessing?
I'm on eBay now and I'm confused about whether I should use the 7mm studs like you or just go for the 8mm. X
