@herzog380 I don't get my morals from my rejection of supernatural claims, although it does inform them to the extent that I don't believe in an afterlife that can make up for my mistakes. I believe the harm I cause others has the potential to be permanent which makes the avoidance of causing harm that much more important. I get my morals from a mixture of sources such as observation, reason, communication, and mutual agreement... all sources that are vastly superior to the Bible.

Many people have spiritual tendencies including me though I just can't be a Christian. Bible is full of verses which any decent human would call fucked up without thinking twice if they had read it in any other context: killing children who stray from faith, killing women who are not virgins on their wedding day, killing your neighbor working on a Sunday, beating slaves but not until they die, ...etc. I think God, or whoever inspired Bible, got at least these bits wrong if not more

In Luke 14:26 Jesus commands us to hate our families. In Matthew 19:29 he tells parents to abandon their children... Some of Jesus' were nice, and some of them were awful.

@herzog380 I don't get my morals from my rejection of supernatural claims, although it does inform them to the extent that I don't believe in an afterlife that can make up for my mistakes. I believe the harm I cause others has the potential to be permanent which makes the avoidance of causing harm that much more important. I get my morals from a mixture of sources such as observation, reason, communication, and mutual agreement... all sources that are vastly superior to the Bible.

But Christianity has survived since the creation of adam and eve for one reason. Because it's right. Its not easy to believe, but that doesn't make it wrong. the catholic church was organized around 500 years after the death of Christ, and others sprouted from it.

I know about objective morality. And if you knew about it as well, you'd know that there is no such thing. The more books you read, the more this becomes obvious. It's a pity that you have to resort to insults. Without insults, you might be able to have a decent discussion with one of your fellow human beings.

Atheism is retarded and inhumane thanks to its inherent subjective morality and moral relativism. That's why they also promote multiculturalism. European Christendom was once the greatest civilization the world has ever seen. All morality is subjective. That's why people follow the religion that suits them best. Moral relativism is what keeps atheists from flying planes into buildings when someone insults our non-theism. Saying that Europe looks more like a hellhole each day, only proves that you have yet to see most of Europe.

Your religion justifies the killings of millions based on belief just because your book says so. I am not a part of Atheism as a whole, I choose not to believe in "god". I base my morals off what EVERYONE should. The law.
