@noctoi Simple reason for that. Games have a limited amount of data they can put onto a CD, so a lot of the baked frames within video games are dropped for the sake of content they can load on a CD. Otherwise I'd think Dragon Age animations would have been more like LA Noire, if not better, if that wasn't the case. Fans don't have that limitation.

On a side note, Rockstar even said that they wouldn't attempt another game like LA Noire for a very long time... way too difficult to make.

@SeikeKyu nah thats what editors and multiple disks are for. look at oblivion, skyrim, mass effect, etc etc. It's about quality before release rather than rushed delivery for dollars.

@noctoi Mass Effect if you haven't notice, has horrid animations... Tons of sliding and horrid chat animations. Plus Mass Effect is on one disk, I have it right next to me. DA is no exception, most noticeable character with cut animation to me is Alistair.

Can't say much for elder scrolls since I don't have the time to play more two games a year, but I'm really sure that I could find a list of bad animations in those too.

I bet you haven't dealt with a publisher either... Time and them = rushed
