Really nice playing. I'm working this piece up myself and I think you could maybe take a look at some of your fingerings. Some of the pauses between shifts can probably be eliminated with a more clever fingering.
Hey, i go to a school of Arts in Newark....nd my teacher just gave me this piece for the summer to learn, nd hearing you playing it has made me more interested in the piece, i just wanna ask any few tips on how to work on the tremolo because im only 14. -__-
I like the interpretation and the paced confidence. I didn't think that a tremelo could hold the melody this well at such a slow tempo, but it sounds pretty nice. Good job.
very nice for hobby!. i must say your discipline is a great lesson for any players learning. never play faster than you can accurately!! too many people worry about playing fast and make mistakes. one flub and people think your amature. but even if you play a song slower than normal but play perfect its much more impressive. accuracy 1st. feeling 2nd then speed. good job putting accuracy first!! great feeling-perfectly played.!
(normal speed see david russell el utimo cancion.)
i love the way you praise and insult at the same time -"for a hobby player- you must be a guitar player also. Strange how some people feel other guitarists to be competition.
E L E G A N T! Keep in mind "hobby" players keep the concert artists employed and the guitar in the forefront of musical change. Lovely sound, and as an earlier comment stated - it is a prayer, one does not shout to God but speaks from the soul.
The reason so many find this performance so pleasant is because the player understands - consciously or not - the nature of this piece. It's a prayer, a musical prayer.
Just with the time that a nowhere man have, with the sadness, with all feelling... congratulations Wolllfang... you found the story hidden in this piece.
This was horrid! I cant beleive you! You hesitated at the beginning! Id spit on you If I knew how to reach you!JUST KIDDING! Good work. You dont make the mistake most people do and strum too hard. I play guitar too. Quite amaturistic compared to you. Im also in fiml, your shot angle is pretty damned good too.
The more I hear it, the more I'm impressed by your rendition of this fabulous piece of art. I know this was played "under construction" but still your version goes straight to the heart unlike another famous one here on YT. That's all what counts. You're some player! I wonder how you perform it now, a few months later.
Greetings, respect and 10* (I cheated!) from a fresh Delcampian.
It's his own interpretation if he plays it slower then usual let him....! And anyhow it's a beatifull interpretation too! You can hear that he put's his soul in his playing!! And JGA011 don't you aggree this smooth tremolo sounds better then the most staggering vids?
Hobby-player or professional is just a literal term. You're a true musician and you clearly play with love. Try to get the story behind this peace, Barrios' last work. If you play it a little faster and with more despair (1st part) and devotion (2nd), you're getting really close. Thanks for sharing!
I'm working on this piece, and it helps a lot to watch your playing and to hear your timing. Your version is a great help to me - to get the timing and flow. Many thanks!
