  • this guy is something !!!!! nice

  • Great playing, but get rid of that horrible reverb effect. It's ruining your recording!

  • Only a hobby player? Well, this sound very good for a hobby player. :) Really gentle, touching and measured. :)

  • very good bravo

  • Really nice playing. I'm working this piece up myself and I think you could maybe take a look at some of your fingerings. Some of the pauses between shifts can probably be eliminated with a more clever fingering.

  • Very good, my friend...

  • You are "hobby player" but you played it very well. Very good job.

  • J'aime ce tempo. Je salue l'audace de jouer aussi lentement cette pièce où beaucoup vont à toute allure. Merci.

  • Wonderful

  • nice... calm and clean

  • Hey, i go to a school of Arts in Newark....nd my teacher just gave me this piece for the summer to learn, nd hearing you playing it has made me more interested in the piece, i just wanna ask any few tips on how to work on the tremolo because im only 14. -__-

  • You're a very talented hobby player! I enjoy the sensitivity in your playing.

  • Well played, excellent sound, I wish, one day, to aspire to be a 'Hobby' player - jealous as hell!

    Regards from Cardiff, Tim.

  • beautiful phrasing/interpretation of the song!

  • Excellent - I have never managed to play tremolo as well as you

  • bravo!!

  • Sublime :)

    Bravo

  • Your undstending of this fine music is complet. Thank you, wolllfgang!

  • Amazing!))) Slow tremolo is very cool)))

  • Te felicito compadre!!!!

Alguna vez logré interpretar ésta joya...

    Pero el tiempo no perdona!

    Trataré de alcanzar mi nivel...

    Algún día!!!

  • nice tremolo there... so calm and clean ! i think it's more difficult to play tremolo in slow tempo...

btw, what guitar do u use ? i like the basses, very deep and punchy :)

  • thanks a lot. That guitar is a spruce Masaki Sakurai from 1997.

  • Beautifull!! feelings...

  • Such sensitive playing

    Beautifull

    Janie

  • Very beautiful interpretation, and I myself say this as one who has struggled with tremolo for years. Excellent performance!

  • Your sensitivity is quite remarkable... one of the inspired.

  • wow, great version, I want to learn it like this, slow but clean, to convey much feeling like you. Congratulations and Regards.

  • That was awesome! I loved the tempo! Its a little slower then normal correct? Great job!

    JB

  • I like the interpretation and the paced confidence. I didn't think that a tremelo could hold the melody this well at such a slow tempo, but it sounds pretty nice. Good job.

  • very nice for hobby!. i must say your discipline is a great lesson for any players learning. never play faster than you can accurately!! too many people worry about playing fast and make mistakes. one flub and people think your amature. but even if you play a song slower than normal but play perfect its much more impressive. accuracy 1st. feeling 2nd then speed. good job putting accuracy first!! great feeling-perfectly played.!

(normal speed see david russell el utimo cancion.)

  • Played with extreme passion, by far the best version I've heard.

  • What e great perforemens....i had tears in mu eyes.

Never heard and seen this song...thank you.

    Rob

  • bella esecuzione, grande studio!!!

    fantastica chitarra!!

    grazie

  • Hi,

a really good job for a hobby player. Tell me pls who built this amazing guitar. Bill

  • Thanks Bill! The guitar is a spruce Masaki Sakurai from 1997. Greetings, W.

  • @willjam77

i love the way you praise and insult at the same time -"for a hobby player- you must be a guitar player also. Strange how some people feel other guitarists to be competition.

  • FLIPANTE

  • Very nice, clean and articulate, great job!

  • you are amazing

  • E L E G A N T! Keep in mind "hobby" players keep the concert artists employed and the guitar in the forefront of musical change. Lovely sound, and as an earlier comment stated - it is a prayer, one does not shout to God but speaks from the soul.

  • This is just beatiful.. Bravo

  • The reason so many find this performance so pleasant is because the player understands - consciously or not - the nature of this piece. It's a prayer, a musical prayer.

  • Nice job. Your tremelo is nicely timed.Iv'e been trying to learn this piece for 3 months and don't sound 1/2 as good as you.

  • your interpretation is gentle and heartfelt. Congratulations.

  • That was very pleasant to listen to W. You clearly care very much about this piece of music!

  • Beautifully played, very gentle.

  • nice. little slower as normal, but I like it!

  • Just with the time that a nowhere man have, with the sadness, with all feelling... congratulations Wolllfang... you found the story hidden in this piece.

  • Nice playing wolllfang !! Check the Frank Maduro intepretation! and bring your opinion please

  • What a feeling and care man!! loved it!

  • Bravo!

  • This was horrid! I cant beleive you! You hesitated at the beginning! Id spit on you If I knew how to reach you!JUST KIDDING! Good work. You dont make the mistake most people do and strum too hard. I play guitar too. Quite amaturistic compared to you. Im also in fiml, your shot angle is pretty damned good too.

  • excelent!

  • You figured the work just as the beautifull dream of the end.

  • awesome!

  • wery musical played!!,cool to hear diffrent versions of it. I play it to on YT

  • donde encuentro un buen CD de sus composiciones?

  • güzel de kendini çok kasıyon daha iyi olabiliiir..

  • Thanks for commenting. Could you however provide a quick translation, since I don't understand any turkish.

  • not important good luck my dear musician brother ;)

  • The more I hear it, the more I'm impressed by your rendition of this fabulous piece of art. I know this was played "under construction" but still your version goes straight to the heart unlike another famous one here on YT. That's all what counts. You're some player! I wonder how you perform it now, a few months later.

Greetings, respect and 10* (I cheated!) from a fresh Delcampian.

  • perfect!!!

  • oh gosh I am in love. beautiful!

  • Das klingt sehr schön, muss ich sagen!! Gut gespielt!

  • another great video from wolfgang...so calmly played and great pasion in it ...Cheers from Delcamp!

  • I admire your restraint. It's very hard for me to slow down on this piece (see my vid). You'll eventually nail this piece. Keep it up.

  • oh by the way the song is called: el ultimo canto.....

it means the last sing... or the last song

  • bien dicho!!!!!QUE VIVA MANGORE!!!!!!!!

  • thats very good but to slow sorry... keep practicing

  • It's his own interpretation if he plays it slower then usual let him....! And anyhow it's a beatifull interpretation too! You can hear that he put's his soul in his playing!! And JGA011 don't you aggree this smooth tremolo sounds better then the most staggering vids?

  • You play so calm and smooth. Very classy! Good job.

  • Hobby-player or professional is just a literal term. You're a true musician and you clearly play with love. Try to get the story behind this peace, Barrios' last work. If you play it a little faster and with more despair (1st part) and devotion (2nd), you're getting really close. Thanks for sharing!

  • this is the one most emotional one I have heard so far! 5 stars for sure and definitely saved as my favorite!

  • Beautiful...! I really like Agustin Barrios Mangoré, a great player and an innovative composer...

Catedral & Un Sueño en la Floresta are my personal favorites.

  • you should be professional

  • Are you a hobby player??

I think you must think guitar most seriously...

    You play very good.

    Great potential.

  • Wieso "gentle with your critique" ?

    Du spielst wunderschön !

    Danke fürs sharing.

    lg wolfgang

  • I'm working on this piece, and it helps a lot to watch your playing and to hear your timing. Your version is a great help to me - to get the timing and flow. Many thanks!

  • Very very well! :)

    Greetings from Delcamp.

    Nartak.

  • Very well done! I hope I can get to your level some day!

  • well done
