  • Brett you are some kind of guy the best I have seen . But I thought you would be great . You have had that since you were a young boy

  • This guy came to my school as well, he really opened some eyes and showed how ignorant people can become. God put him here to show us that there ARE no excuses.....it's very comforting^^

  • @gaarafan0509 it's easy for him to say no excuses with all the support and extra measures that have been prepared for him whether he's willing to admit it or not.

Had he been treated like shit, limbs or no limbs he wouldn't be telling the same story.

Just because you have overcome huge obstacles in life it doesn't prove your efforts and success can be applied to someone else stuck behind theirs.

People like this just tend to annoy me because existentialism is pure fucking fantasy!

  • @JonDeth I understand. I know that if no one spared so much as a glance that he wouldn't be traveling around from school to school doing inspirational events. Existentialism may be fantasy to you, but that's your opinion. This guy caters to those who explore that philosophy. It just isn't your cup of tea. :) I respect that. I actually didn't remember that I ever posted on this page.

  • @gaarafan0509 It's not an opinion it's a FACT. Nobody controls reality and nobody attains success on their own. You are reliant on others and these others always have power over your situation.

    Nobody hires oneself.

The message he sends is that your troubles or problems are negligible compared to his.

Who the fuck is he to preach such a lie to children?

    How dare he.

The fact is, he's in a club the rest of us are not!

    Much like George Carlin stated.

So don't get me started, you're a peon.

  • @JonDeth You started this for one. Yes, I do understand that society determines whether or not you're sucessful. He just shows kids that he's made it through the struggle. Just because he made it, does it 100% guarantee that you'll make it through, your damn right it doesn't, but it helps to inspire those who feel hopeless. He's encouraging people to go beyond their boundaries. Some will fail, others will not.

  • @gaarafan0509 all these motivational guys are bullshitting scam artists from Tony Robbins to Brett Eastburn. I saw his original HBO segment many years ago and found him to be a cocky little prick that they over sensationalized,

He seems different now but the general theme is still insulting.

    No excuses!

    Well what about undeniable reasons?

    It's just more brainwashing propaganda.

Look at this man with no limbs! You have no right to complain!

Give me half the resources he has had and I won't!

  • @JonDeth Honestly, I didn't really care what the message was. It was just more of a comedy routine. I'm smart enough to realize that everyone's life is independent of each other, but we still depend on each other in society and for success. He's doing nothing more than sharing his personal experience. I think if you take it any further than that, then that's a problem. Everyone will go through different events and obstacles, but some people need encouragement to tackle problems they wouldn't.

  • @gaarafan0509 I saw his HBO special a few times. He was an arrogant little prick. The comedy routine and extra weight he is now carrying leads me to believe he has probably changed and is forced to see the world differently.

Regardless, I still do not like motivational speakers.

I view them as scam artists or unrealistic existentialists that may be sending positive messages but they are still just slinging their own personal philosophy based on the way life has unfolded for them. Pertain that!

  • @JonDeth I only saw him once when he came to my highschool. He didn't preach that much. He just showed that he made the best of his circumstances and made people ponder what their own meaning of happiness. For example, someone may want to become a pro athlete, but doesn't even realize that he can walk, talk, and think for himself, while others cannot. That's what I got out of it, but it's whatev. Inspirational speakers should come with a "results may vary" on their face.

  • @gaarafan0509 I simply do not believe in considering the feelings of other people just because the socialists running our country use it to brainwash and control us. He's been had just like everyone else and he's perpetuating it.

In a Republic, the individual is to come first.

Since they instated HJR-192, we are living in a socialist economy and agendas.

Meanwhile the elites live with monopolism and rights outside the contracts of law.

I live once, I don't care that someone else struggles.

  • @gaarafan0509 the truth is, you need to think about yourself first and it should not be plagued with thoughts of struggle the kid with no eyes or no legs goes through so that you are willing to accept less. Can you do anything to help them?

No and how does it make your troubles go away or lessen?

    It doesn't.

Should you feel less angry or frustrated?

    ABSOLUTELY NOT.

It's just brainwashing society into being overly tolerant and taken advantage of.

Oh no, someone's feelings might get hurt!!

  • @gaarafan0509 I will close with this.

All he's really teaching is inequality and the establishment LOVES that. He's doing their dirty work for them because if you consent to that way of thinking, they can impost more criminal legislation over you.

Our Republic is built on the agreement that we are all equals. Brett is my equal. A retarded man in a wheelchair is my equal.

Yet he teaches you to be grateful with what you have while people like Justin Bibber & Jennifer Aniston steal from all of us.

  • @JonDeth Look at the children at Saint Judes. Imagine if the child were your sister or your own child, someone personal and you didn't have the finances to help them. Are we all expected to say 'tough luck kid' and move on? Not to waste any money on a stranger? I'm not accusing you or anything, but I'm just saying people have reasons (sometimes) behind what they do. Celebs do it for publicity, but others do it out of kindness. And good, because we are spamming the crap out of this post, lol

  • @gaarafan0509 imagine if it were my sister or child?

Well it is not, that is my point. Our society has been brainwashed into functioning as socialists where you take on the emotional, mental and financial debts of others while the elitists who incorporate these ideals rob everyone and anyone blind.

Including the children at St. Judes.

If you have a car, home and job, it's insisted you ALWAYS have something to spare.

Many of us have nothing to spare and we still feel obligated to do so.

  • @JonDeth Gotcha, :) Sorry if I offended you, I was just trying to explain why people feel obligated to do things, but I understand your point now. All of these charities for St. Jude only get like..10% of the donation, the other 90% goes to the corporation sponsoring it, it's crap. Also, I hate paying into welfare, it's bull, especially when you have no say on how that money is used.

  • @gaarafan0509 when you know as much as I do about government and interpreting the documents they use to deceive us, you no longer trust anything that is corporate. Basically if it's on television, the radio or straight from government, it's a a half truth or a complete lie.

I personally dislike celebrities and see them as our enemies because I know their role. People like Brett are manipulated into participating but, we're all brainwashed participants for much of our lives.

  • @JonDeth I can def. see that, lol Celebrities are today's modern gods for really no reason. Like you said earlier, we're all equal. I personally get so frustrated with politics because I know you can never trust what anyone says. That's why I turn away from it (even though I shouldn't) and study other things that aren't really human/social centered.

  • @gaarafan0509 Study the language of law and the way it's all written long enough, you find out the government has no authority over us what so ever. It SEEMS that way but everything is written in Legalese which seems like English and is not

When you interpret it properly and see the truth. EVERY public servant is a putrid liar. They along with celebrities serve the corporations and the banks. They see us as stupid and less than human

It's why there are no cures they want an endless profit source
