  • I love my 2008 Black Berry Pearl Fit, I named her Bella. :)

  • I like Honda FREED

    Dr John

    Carsanook

    Kingdom of Thailand

  • I prefer a Honda Airwave 1.5 V-TEC JDM to it.

  • 今月中にホンダフィットR S(シルバー)納車されます。楽しみですぅ、 p(^^)q

  • I love my 2009 Fit Sport. So glad I just purchased one. And I was coming from a 1991 Civic DX... That says alot.

  • @ztevo depends on who you ask, it could go either way. I really like what they have done with the new ones, but the old ones have character too. Both great styling by Honda.

  • I'm only 14 (almost fifteen) and this is the car I WANT! (: (: (:

  • What a lazy feeling commercial. It completely misses the point that the Fit is a helluva lot of fun to drive! I've got an 08 5 speed and LOVE it!

  • I own a FIT, and love it. 37 mpg and lots of space inside. The little car scoots in traffic and the paddle shift on the steering wheel is just plain FUN!

  • affordable, reliable, fuel efficient, confortable cars.

    Go honda

down with GM, Ford and alikes... they got lost in time!

  • a-men...honda is the best car company in the world.

  • I have owned honda's for a few years now , i had a 1992 accord and a 1992 civic, but the civic was as reliable as a rock , and now i have a 2004 Acura 1.7 EL , which is a honda civic in a suit.

At 95000 kms the cars headgasket went and i never push my car , in my opinion they don't make hondas how they used to back in the days.

  • Hokey commercial. I test drove a Fit and it was just an underpowered economy car. If you just want a commuter car and don't care about fun and performance, it seems like the perfect car. It does have a lot of space. I suggest test-driving one first, though. The reviews and commercials make it sound like more than it really is.

  • I want one so badly. Here in Argentina we'll get the ones produced in Brazil.

  • I own one. Fit sport, It's awesome! I avg 41 mpg. The interior space is unreal.

  • FIT - Female in transit. all i see is females in these cars, they can be pretty sick though i have seen k20a's in them thats balls out nice i love hondas

  • I love the 2nd-gen Fit. The ratio of drivers I see in it locally are 70/30, favoring guys, and they always have the Sport model it seems. Still awaiting one for myself. :)

  • Uuuuuh BlueBlazer89, Honda builds cars all around the world so don't magically assume it's built in Japan.

FYI, the North American Honda Civic/Pilot/Ridgeline and Acura MDX's are made in Canada.

  • The Fit is made entirely in Japan. I know because I have one.

  • I owned a Porsche, but that doesn't mean I knew everything about the company and where everything was made or sourced from.

  • I've tested one today but was disappointed. While it's a small car a lot of space inside and handles well, the 1.3L auto is very underpowered.

Under normal driving the engine was revving too much and jumping from gear to gear just to find the best power ratio making the driving rather un-smooth and annoying.

  • CVT transmission can be annoying. I had a civic with that and it was crap. However, I just bought a 2009 Jazz manual. Definitely not underpowered - the 1.3L engine puts out 73 kW and it is just over a ton. For its class and competition, it is reasonably powered. Also considering that power comes at a cost - the aim of this vehicle was to be spaciously innovative, creative, fuel efficient and have a luxurious interior. It achieved it's purpose. It was not meant to be a racer.

  • Does anyone know if this car will be built in Japan?

  • Yes all in Japan.

  • Hi junkdatfunk, thanks for the this! I'm wanting a Japan built Honda, so the Jazz may be the one I'm looking for!

  • its a honda, so yes

  • Cheers Blueblazer89, really appreciate it:)

  • Uuuuh BlueBlazer89, just a new flash, Honda builds cars all around the world, so don't magically assume it's build in Japan.

The Honda Civic/Pilot/Ridgeline and Acura MDX for example are built in Canada.

  • WOW 24km/L that is fuel efficient!

  • But you can just buy after market disc brakes and install them on the real to replace the drums right?

  • nice car..when the fit will come in philippines..?tnx

  • ahahaahahahha it lokes lie a prius lol sooo gay the old one is better XD

  • you will like the europe version better

  • face it, the car IS ugly. it's way too tall and wedge shaped. Deisgn like Mazda2 is the way this segment should be done.

  • This car handles like a dream though! It has plenty of power for a 4 cylinder engine, so it's a great bargain.

  • Looks great, maybe will be introduced here. :)

  • if you mean in America, yes, they gunna be introduced here as the new model this year :D

(also have been getting hints of it coming with hybrid option :O)

  • i do believe a hybrid one is coming out, but not at the same time as the '09 model

  • I just bought this car, i love it, you learn to love its odd shape and strange lines, it looks so different from all the other generic hatchbacks

  • Very odd looking car.

  • im moving from my jeep wranler to this next yr or some other gas saving car. so sad....but i do like this modern design!

  • Why are they designing these carts to look like the Prius?

  • prius's are ugly, that car isnt ugly. you must just be blind.

  • We both disagree with veltpak6's opinion on the looks, but at least it's just an opinion. I like Honda cars, and the Fit is fun to drive. I also heard from 2 Honda dealers that in 2009, there's supposed to be a hybrid Fit.

  • There is a history in my country, that a Fit (model 2007) was stolen for some drug dealers. They managed to put 12 dead bodies inside the vehicle right before they get caught by the police.

Well, thats a lot of space :)

  • Hahahahahahaha perhaps Honda should use that to promote the car!!!!

  • looks great. cant wait to get mine in Sep 2008!

  • I want this car!

  • me too

  • it looks ok, but Japanese, German and Korean cars are the only cars to get from point A to point B. American...not so great, lol.

  • HONDA just keep getting better and better, nice car, better looking than the previous model.

  • 07/08 are uglier than tis. This looks good.

  • naww..the just snubbed the nose down a bit..and gave it the honda civic windshield approach.

  • the yaris is a paice of shit butt fukin ugly hatchbck.the fit sport can be clean lookin if ya know what ya doing. fuk the yaris

  • i like.

  • If the 2009 model meets the same price points as the previous generation FIT then Honda will have me paying out of pocket by the end of the year. This is the best compact car you can get in the US.

  • Nice car!!!!

  • Truth be told, though the design is nice, I prefer the first-generation car. It is nimbler on its feet and more fuel-efficient.

Oh, and how could 4.5 people possibly need TEN cupholders?! I don't even use cup holders for anything more than my garage door opener!

  • This new one is estimated at either 46 or 55 mpg depending on engine type (compared to the 34 to 38 mpg hwy that the '07-'08 Fit gets), and with the stronger engine and relatively same curb weight, the 2009 Fit should handle better.

  • Honestly, I would buy one. It's attractive, yet practical. Pretty hot too.

  • No other car can beat this man! #1 car in Europe and America.

Only 1 problem: Why can't we get this extremley popular jewel ANY SOONER?!?

    Now that, irritates my ASS!

  • I really hope this 2nd gen makes it to Australia soon... I'm waiting to upgrade from my 2002/03 Vti

  • Dear friends, When will the honda fit come TURKEY. Could you inform me...

  • The FIT is too expensive at $18,000 for a SUB compact car.

For only $500-$800 more, I can buy a Scion XB and get a much bigger and smooth ride.

  • I just got mine, i love it. The sport model with paddle-shifters, 16" wheels, bluetooth link. i am installing my mugen exhaust today... great car..

  • I'm lovin' this car! Luv it, luv it, luv it! It's the perfect car for the times we live in--versatile, 'green' and fuel efficient. I can't wait until it comes to the U. S.!

  • not with the 1.5 vtec 120 hp.. that must be a dream to drive :) i have a 1.6 vtec civic 125 hp, and because the Jazz is much more light it should go pretty fast

  • This is 100% my new car. I bought a Jazz in March 2006 and i have no probs since 147000Km...a pretty good car. I saw a RS-Modell in this clip...anyone knows how much horsepower it has?

  • Around 130

  • I ordered mine and its coming hopefully b4 CYN! The funny part is that I bought it even did not see the real car itself! I hope honda fit really lives up to its name! This is my lst car :)

  • just got ride here in singapore..1.3 i-vtec engine churning 100 horses. =)

  • Does the Singapore version have an adjustable seat height? I've heard the US version won't have it. I'll come back to visit Singapore when the new Universal Studios on Sentosa opens.

  • its 2009

  • The new Fit has been released in Japan is a 2008 model year so the title is correct.

  • 2009 for america...

  • 2009 models are made 6 months into 2008

  • is it just me or 2008 fit looks a lot longer than 2007 fit

  • You are not under an illusion, it is much longer and wider than the old Honda Jazz.

  • 2" longer and 0.8" wider...

  • alright..ima save my money for this car.cant wait.

  • Thanks for this, I love this car and I'm going to buy one...
