I thought that Journey played this song with G D/F# (F# Diminished) and Em, but this guy tranposed it to D A Bm G.

  • Sehr cool

    5*

  • Its in the key of 'D' the orginal song is in the key of 'g'.

    the chords are : D A Bm G

same chords through the whole song.

  • Nice, Love the acoustic touch!

  • very good solo job, and very good idea dropping it down a key...lol.

However, speed kills. Slow it down. I am often guilty of doing the same thing when I play live.

  • very very nice!

  • What chords are those? It doesn't really sound like the standard G, D/F, and Em chords in the actual Journey song...it sounds better in your version. If you could let me know, it'd be much appreciated.

  • the cords that he's doing are D A Bm and G

  • Excellent! That's fantastic that you stood up there and belted it out. You rock :)

  • this guy is an incredible singer

  • Thank you very much!!!

  • Very impressive. I wish I could have done it that well at your age or any other age.

There is a song that I think you would absolutely take off into space on but it's not a radio hit. It IS however a timeless classic just the same. Look up "Libertine" by Utopia, it is sung by Kasim Sulton.

If you check this out, please tell me what you think.
