  • Even the Beatles made some big mistakes.... or What do you think Linda and Yoko? Disgusting ... Doesn´t it?

  • Paul asked Linda to be there, even where she stood in the production. If you insult Linda you are insulting Paul's decisions.

  • Great McCartney and his acoustic guitar.Good Times.

  • Muchas gracias por subir este documento!!!! buenisimo!!!Paul y Linda!!

  • I don't blame linda for getting all close up to Paul when she's taking the pics, I would too lol i'd be literally right in front of his face lol

  • I was so spellbound during this. it's priceless! linda snapping pictures and chiming in on his songs while he plays acoustic. awww i'm so happy

  • I can't stand Linda McCartney, go ahead, rip me to pieces!

  • this is incredible to see and hear, thanx for posting!!!

  • lets not pick on Linda- she inspired alot of Paul's music and was a better wife than Mills! Later she became a better singer and keyboard player- she never expected to be a musician and only did cuz Paul asked her to. Linda even wrote a few songs or co-wrote them like "Live & Let Die" and stuff from "Rupert The Bear". She was a good person, raised Paul's kids and didn't interfere in The Beatles or anything unlike Yoko

  • @4FabBEATLES well said!

  • this is faul mccartney

  • aaaaaaaaa como se llama la cancion con la que inician? T_T

  • What is John going to do with this?

  • I find it funny all the people hear saying that Linda was'nt a world class photographer HA HA HA.Lindas maiden name is Eastman(ring any bells)Yes as in Kodack Eastman, thats right the daugher of the Kodack film company.I think she has a little knowledge about taking pictures.

  • Really? Didn't know that...

  • @oakman29 Actually, not the same family. Her dad was a lawyer.

  • @oakman29 Linda was not related to the Eastman Kodack family

  • Great upload rainbow. I remember this show so well, took me right back to being 8 years old

  • what relation both bluebird and blackbird?

  • Thanks Rainbow

    You're a diamond

  • i really like paul mccartney but one thing that annoys me is how in the 70's he adopted an annoying half american accent whilst singing which he never had when he was in the beatles. instead of hearrrrd of the country as he is singing here he should be saying haaaart of the country in his own accent!

  • He´s William Campbell

  • I was 9 when this TV show was on. My 19 yo sis just moved out and gave me 6 old Beatle records a few months before. I was already a stone cold Beatle fan by the time this show was on. We didn't have video recorders then. I took a regular portable cassette recorder and taped it. I listened to it for years. It is sooooo cooool to see this show again. Thanks for posting this nyrainbow!!! You rock!!

  • OMG! Ebsterb123! I did the same thing! Only I was 13, and I'd been a fan since birth practically, because my brother is 10 years older. I taped this with my cassette, too, and also wore it out, but not before a friend borrowed and then "lost" it. I know she just wanted to keep it. Thank you so much Rainbow for uploading this! I have wanted to hear this again for so long!

  • Getting to see him play a few bars of "Heart of the Country" was awesome all by itself. Thanks for posting the special!

  • Yes, Boneless Sausage sucks big time!

  • Yes, it was a well known fact that Linda couldn't sing. A musician she wasn't.

  • @annaliese9 No she wasn't as her very nasty journalist friend pointed out when the show aired.Lillian Roxon could not tear this show up enough, because all her journalist friends who helped her in NY felt like Linda dumped them. She did dump them, but she had a lot going on and Lillian Roxon died shortly after her review and that Linda always regretted not getting back in touch with her friends. Another friend went worse and talked about how bad a singer, musician, wife and mother Linda was.

  • The woman is deceased. Have a glass of milk or something. I think she was a fine singer. And by the way, what have you done lately other than opine about someone who is not available to respond to your harsh criticism?

  • Why don't you have a glass of milk or something, dummy. Ha Ha Ha

  • I just came across a picture that had to do with this show and I was like WTF? This is very new to me.

  • "good evening"

    Fantastic!

  • hey if anyone knows the tab for this version of bluebird could you please send it to me :)

    thanks.

  • Did,nt Ringo Starr play drums on one of the songs during this special?

  • Boneless Sausage sucks.

  • Linda was the most waste of space on a stage. A so called singer and musician. NOT

  • I have to agree with every comment posted by Boneless Sausage.

  • Paul says something in french at 7:15 but I can't understand it. But maybe it's "french-sounding" gibberish, I don't know...

    Could anybody tell me?

Anyway, Linda's presence annoys me a lot: her "photographing" is too much intrusive, it gets on my nerves. But they were married and they formed a band together, so it's natural that they did everything together. Infact, in my opinion, Paul's musical inspiration has run out when he wore the wedding ring...

  • Linda's photography ranked right up there with her "singing". lol

  • Yeah, Linda was a so called "photographer". lol

  • Okay dummies..... She's "in his face" because the space they had wasn't the largest. It was pretty much a sketch.... Trying to show how they worked together....

You can see how at the beginning of the white room he's kinda nervous but then she starts singing with him and he starts getting more into it.

Grow up. Paul and Linda were lovers, friends, and soulmates. He wasn't annoyed by her proximity.

  • Amen

  • She was a world class photographer stupid cunt. Ed

  • I liked Linda but why the Fuck does she have to be right in Pauls face with the camera the whole time??? Would have been better if Paul just sang without the distraction.

  • Get over it crusty. Ed

  • @marcmgm

Seems like he wanted to be photographed seen as he has a bunch of photography equipment in the background.

  • @marcmgm yes but that wasn't the case, so lets not wallow, eh?

  • I had first watched this programme when it appeared on television back in '73 and have been chasing it ever since for a second viewing, but to no avail. Thanks to you, nyrainbow, my second chance has arrived. I am very grateful. Cheers!

  • Did you have a color TV back then?

  • wow rainbow, thanks for posting this!

  • oh good ness! that man! that man! that man! it's just crazy what it does to me watching him perform...yeah...ah's nuts!

  • Beautiful Vid!

  • After see this, I understand more White stripes.

  • Did this ever get shown on American TV??

  • Yes, in 1973

  • I remember seeing it on channel 5 here in New York when I was a wee lad! This is great! Thanks for posting this!
