  • springsteen is rare for an American rocker... he still looks good for his age, never got into drugs etc.

  • RIP Big Man.

  • Man, we're gonna miss you Clarence.

  • I think my dad was at this concert in 85... Not me, i was born in 91. I hope I could see the boss one day ! And i love this song, and it's my favourite album, Darkness on the edge of town yeahh !

  • saw this at wembley 85 for the first and lucky not last time live, one of the most powerful songs in his armoury of .. powerful songs .... this song remains constant on all his tours as its a timeless classic involving the whole band and a massive crowd pleaser ...... great version as well thanks to mr chappel for upload....

  • woah baby, clarence clemons whales!

  • he doesnt really loook like himself in this put i L.O.V.E BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN

  • BADLANDS, you gotta live it every day

Let the broken hearts stand-As the price you've gotta pay

All men wanna be rich, rich men wanna be king and a king ain't satisfied til he rules everything..

(Lyrics kick ass!! AND they're just too fitting for what we're living in right now - BADLANDS) BRUCE ROCKS!!

  • @luvpupster1 If you're going to quote his lyrics, at least get them right. "Poor" man wanna be rich....

  • still my favorite from The River to today

  • @dnminla

how can it be? Badlands it's not even on the river album lol

  • "For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside, that it ain't no sin tobe glad you're alive!"

    The Boss.

  • I was born in '92. My Friends don't like Bruce (they think its Old Men Music (i don't know the right word for it, its this combination in Holland;)) But I'll do a murder to see Bruce live!!!

I'm glad my parents like this music, so i'd grow up with it!!!!!

  • My friends don't like Bruce either,we are in our early forties, when it comes to music, all that matters is what you like, only fools listen to music to fit in with other people.

  • @anneb19792 Me to...My friends also says it's music for old people.....But my parents also likes him:-)

  • Wow I love this song, this is the song that first got me lovin his music . Clarence and Bruce in their Prime Totally Awesome

  • born in 93 and i would be getting so much better grades if i didnt spend my life watching springsteen videos on youtube. o well its worth it i guess

  • Born in 93 too, and same here, but god it's worth it for sure!!!

  • @AspenBrookProduction ......my daughter was born in '93. Being from NJ, and a life long Bruce nut, found it my responsibility to get my son, and daughter into Bruce.....here's a quote from "No Surrender"........"We learned more from a 3 minute record than we ever learned in school"...........keep watchin the youtube vids......lol

  • @AspenBrookProduction I love it! The younger generation digging Bruce Springsteen! He was THE BOSS, for sure. Saw him live, front row at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX.. 1985 or 86.. (I was 2 - haha) a little bit older, but it was AMAZING.. I cried in awe of it all, and the enormity of the performance..Nothing has matched it since, and I've seen ALOT of big headliners in concert. Rock on!

  • Max is killin it!

  • I love that all Max needs is that little drum set to produce all that power,a bad hair day will not stop the mighty Max.

  • LOVE U BRUCE ♥

  • Wtf i was born in 93 awell and i'm also a big Bruce Springsteen fan. I live in the Netherlands and have been to 8 concerts and at the Pinkpop festival i stood in the first line and he gave me a hand when he saw me singing the Promised Land chorus. My best moment in my live, so fucking cool!

This man is just the very best there is, the energy he gives at a concert is legendary. Not many people give +3 hours concerts for over 30 years, so no suprise they call him "The Boss".

  • Amen to that, Dutchie! You are so right!

  • man, same here. born in 95 and saw him in frankfurt july 3rd. I will never forget it, especially the 11 minutes filled with jungleland.

  • He is the Boss, top quality, I wanna go out tonight, wanna find out what I got

  • ca c'est de la musique ! ca motive une musique pareil :D

  • Ravi de voir que certains ressentent la même chose que moi en écoutant cette pure merveille !

  • badlandssssssssssss

    bruceeeeee<3 i wish i was alive in 85.

    wasny born til 93

  • Yeah i agree with you. I was born in 92 and i'm a BIG fan of THE BOSS!

  • Nice to know there are younger fans too. Bruce`s music reaches people no matter how young they are. I was born in 93 and have seen him twice, I'm so gratefull he and the band just keep on going. Thank you.

  • Yeah man your right, so many young people love the Boss because his songs over all the years are awesome and the lyrics brilliant!!!!

    BRUUUUUUUUUUCE!!!!!!!

  • I was born in 1947... saw every date of Born inthe usa tour, and some way before his "commerical" success. it was the most amazing experience. I will remember this forever. He kind of surpasses ages and "classes" . He will always be the BOSS!

  • I too!!! The same thing

  • I was born in 93 and bruce is my favorite musician of all time i must say.

  • @samfav93 Glad I was alive in '75. By then I seen Bruce 4 times. RIP "Big Man"

  • Those were the days.

  • the best! he's the one!

  • as Barney Stinson would have said it, legen......dary!

  • ''Awsomelicious''

  • "awesomeness"

  • Gosh... Now I'm crying. Damn it! Everything here is just perfect! It's so depressing that we live in a society when one of the few things that can make you feel happiness like this is by listening to a song... But hey, if any song can do that to you, this can, right? Bruce, we loooooove you! ^_^

  • This song makes me want to break out of my cubicle and run down the street shouting ROWR!!

  • This stadium tour was incredible. Even though they were stadiums it felt intimate

  • Amen, Regardless of your views on this song I pretty sure we all agree that It's one of The Boss best songs and the lyrics just show how great of a song writer he really is

  • hey uhm, how about everybody stop talking about politics and just listen to the fukin song

  • Speaking of which: I've noticed a sudden surge in hate-posts by right-wingers that are pissed that the BOSS played at an Obama rally. They suddenly hate his music because he sang for him.

I think they should have expected that--a working class advocate IS GOING TO support the party that supports organized labor and the unions.

  • dylan used to make plenty of comments about vietnam with his then girlfriend joan baez boka

  • Just shut the fuck up! No one wants to hear you bokadude.. lol!

Are you 13 years old or what?

  • You probably voted for Ronald Regan though. Do you support Schwarzenegger in CA?

Conservatives revile commentary from actors and other artists until they're in their corner.

  • To a point.

I consider myself a progressive.. yet when I hear an actor of musician speak as though they are the foremost figure in political discourse and know whats best for America, while they live 5 months out of the year in Europe and do not do act on any words they profess.

These "artists" do not know the perspective of REAL America.

  • Comment removed

  • So its okay for Toby or somebody from the right to speak out. Kind of a double standard but that's par for the course. Bruce is just telling the truth period!!!!!!

  • Yes bokadude...Bruce is speaking out for the LEFT. As he sees it. With his biased opinions. Just as YOU speak out w/ YOUR biased opinions or ANYONE ELSE speaks out , LEFT or RIGHT w/ THEIR biased opinions. Thats what this country is founded on.... What? Are only LYING POLITICIANS allowed to voice their opinions on world matters? Bruce happens to take advantage of his fame and speak his mind, whether you agree or disagree. The working class stiff never had a bigger voice. We're all Americans dude

  • I have this concert on 3 dvd's

  • where can i get this dvd can u make me copies and i buy it from u

  • Patti looks better now

  • max is having a serious bad hair day 2:04-2:07.

  • I think they sound even better live now than they did back then...

  • This gig is fucking amazin. Wudda loved to have been there. Shame i hadnt bin born.lol. Saw him at Manchester in 2003, 2008 and sheffield 2006. The BOSS!!!! total legend.

  • poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king, and a king aint satistfied until he rules everything!!!love that line!!

  • I have a tattoo on my back with that line, so I guess you can say that I kinda love it to ;)

  • nice!!!

  • Yeah, I know :) now the Boss is with me every day for the rest of my life, and that feels pretty cool.

  • that's really the best line and it's soooo damn true!!

  • One of the best songs in the Boss's set. No one puts on a better show. He is simply the best there is, was and will ever be. Long live the king of rock and roll

  • Thanks a lot for uploading this video! The Boss and The E Street Band are simply awesome!

  • Lights out tonight, trouble in the heartland.

Got a head-on collision, smashin in my guts man.

Im caught in a crossfire that I dont understand.

But theres one thing I know for sure girl:

I dont give a damn for the same old played out scenes

I dont give a damn for just the in-betweens.

Honey I want the heart, I want the soul, I want control right now.

  • Hi Emily, I'd really like to sing along with you, do you really know all the words by heart? Boy! this song is so energetic and powerful that makes me feel so good!!!

  • this isn't really a hard song to memorize

  • and it's an even easier song to copy and paste.

  • oh, of course =)

    thank god for the internet

  • You better listen to me baby:

Talk about a dream; try to make it real.

You wake up in the night with a fear so real.

You spend your life waiting for a moment that just dont come.

Well dont waste your time waiting

Badlands you gotta live it every day

    Let the broken hearts stand

  • As the price youve gotta pay

Well keep pushin till its understood

And these badlands start treating us good

Workin in the field till you get your back burned

Workin `neath the wheels till you get your facts learned.

Baby I got my facts learned real good right now.

You better get it straight darling:

  • Poor men wanna be rich, rich men wanna be kings,

And a king aint satisfied till he rules everything.

I wanna go out tonight, I wanna find out what I got.

Now I believe in the love that you gave me.

I believe in the faith that could save me.

I believe in the hope and I pray that some day it

    Will raise me above these

    Badlands...

  • For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

That it aint no sin to be glad youre alive.

I wanna find one face that aint looking through me

I wanna find one place, I wanna spit in the face of these

  • That guy in white is really fun to watch, he comes in and goes out, never misses a beat. What is his name?

  • Clarence Clemons

  • The Big Man Clarence Clemons

  • yyyeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!

  • My favorite song from The Boss, legend.

    I'll always remember this man.

  • MAX GIVEem HELL !!!!!!!

  • A GOOD EXPRESSION.

  • Best arena anthem ever, and the Stones can kiss Bruce's big left toe, if he'll let them.

  • Can you buy this consert on DVD?

    It's so great!

  • Awesome video. Where did you get all these great Bruce videos from?

  • "Breathless in Paris"

    VHs i'm sure, DVD i don't no...

  • A very good song and show-manship.

  • 2:46... how iconic does that look :p

  • Headbands were the rock fashion rage in the late '70s to mid '80s (Mark Kopfler is great, but looks ridiculous wearing one). This is a great performance; also check out their '75 concert at Hammersmith Odeon for some earlier fire & passion.

  • I love this song! The head band is a bit dodgy but The Boss wears it well

  • The true hero is springsteen! the one and only. Great, love him!

  • Fucking superb.

  • i LOVE bruce springsteen, but what was he thinking with the headband ? lol :P

  • He was probably a big fan of punky brewster :p

  • Bravo. Good show-man-ship. Good song. Loved it's. Perfectly done. Poor man wanna be rich , rich man would be king and king will rules all inside us. GREAT.

  • Awesome music! Way to go "Boss" !

  • He just rocks!

  • i love these guys but i can't help but laugh when Clarence screws up at 2:38 lol

  • 13 december cologne yes

  • ....how???

  • Great song; one of the Boss' best. The 80's look, headband, puffy hair, rolled up sleeves to show off his "pipes"; not cool, Bruce.

  • Thomas Ian Nicholas who played Kevin in American Pie would make a good bruce looks wise but his acting is questionable

  • I think if they were ever to do a film about bruce that rambo, sylvester stallone could play the part...Just a thought so if anybody knows anybody in hollywood...pass it on!

  • i have always thought that ben affleck would make a good bruce springsteen...he's a liitle tall but it could work...

  • Love this song. Not so sure about their fashion sense in this video - guess that was 1985. Doesn't matter, this is the best Springsteen song ever. Saw him do this in Boston 8-22-99, 8 days before my son was born - the baby kicked through the whole song!

  • 9th dec i stockholm sweden i'll be there

  • Bruce has never been so powerful!

    Such memories!

  • Is this video for sale ???????

  • yeah 12 dec in sportpaleis belgium i'll be there..:-)

  • There's a song in praise of Jersey girls .. is there one for a Jersey boy? If not there ought to be, and it should be for this guy ...

  • "Honey I want the heart, I want the soul, I want control right now." Another Rock and Roll Anthem that Bruce sings and we all can relate to.

  • do you know how/where can i get that concert??

  • I was born 7 years after that... F*CK! Need a time machine

  • Incredible!!!! I believe this is the best performance by THE BOSS ever!!

I was born just one month and 6 days before this show, and now that I see this I know it was too late, I had to be there...

  • Great song, great performance by the boss.

  • I was born two years exactly after this concert was preformed and filmed. If this song was preformed at 3:15PM eastern time,it would be two years to the exact moment.

  • sickest video

  • AWESOME !!!! one of my fav. songs ever..classic
