Hi, the places you see in the video are near Mexico city, the place at night is " el panteon de Jilotepec" , a graveyard in Xochmilco, it is the night from the 1st to the 2nd of november. The place in daytime is the graveyard at Tecomitl, nest to it there is Mixquic , one of the main places to be these days.
Another great place is Patzcuaro that is in michoacan.
I'm going this year! :D Where do you recomend I visit? Also, I really really really want to bring my SLR but feel it's too much of a theif target what you reckon?

@gottahavefaithe It's a matter of luck. Sometimes you get robbed, sometimes not. It's not that dangerous, but you'd better take care.
