It is a miracle. The blind can see, the deaf can hear. Wait! Stop! What's so great about splitting the moon? It could be stories of spaceships and ancient space aliens.
The moon was indeed broken in half. Part of it landed on Earth. According to the book "When the sky fell" The old moon was split in half during a war. Part of it landed on Earth on a continent that was once in the Pacific Ocean. It caused massive flooding all over the world, and it also caused the Ice Age. There is a crater in the Pacific Ocean that prooves something fell and caused this crater. The Earth once had two moons, one was split into pieces and fell to Earth.
The Quran shows how even though people saw this event occur in person they would not believe it, non believers fought tooth and nail to make an excuse for every little thing (as today) and in that instance they claimed they were all bewitched.
So I do not think any Muslim (at least I don't) expects a non believer today to believe it just like that. This is a miracle & those with faith will accept it, it is confirmed in Islamic sources it occurred.
@TheIslammiracle No sir, modern arabic is not a translation at all it is very different, quranic arabic is also different than classical arabic that was spoken from the quraysh. The only thing that allows you to go on with this so called ''debunking'' is that you pick the verses that are not clear, therefore not giving you a definite statement, the expanding universe and the evolution of man is very clear in the quran, something you cannot debunk, among alot of other verses.
@Verification11 Even if that were true... it raises several other problems for your religion... it's the cliche about telling a lie then having to come up with more complex lies to cover up the initial ones. You should just use the faith argument like moderate christians and stop trying to create fictional science stories out of the quran. We already have enough christian literalists/creationists to worry about.
@Verification11 No matter the language... supernatural, obviously imagined, scientifically incorrect claims are still just that... if you're saying there is no possible way to explain your claim from arabic into an understandable claim in english, that is either your lack of proficiency in the english language or an excuse. If you're saying the people that translated your book to english are poor translators and damned us all to hell because of their lack of care then that is ridiculous...
It would be incredibly arrogant of me to make fun of you for your bad english. I'm no grammar genius or master of language. All I'm saying is that what you're saying is what christians say about the bible.. about how you have to accept god in order to read and understand the bible properly... because they can't use the excuse of poor translation from another language... no, actually they do use that sometimes and say that you have to read the original hebrew...but do you se the similar excuse?
@Verification11 I would love nothing more than to believe in a god of some sort that cared for us etc. But any of these god's methods are incredibly inefficient. For one excuse or another every other group of people not of the original person's point of view is damned. You either have to know the right language, or be the right skin color, or be born in the right place, believe without evidence(faith).. etc... etc... What's wrong with just working together.. because it's the logical thing to do.
i think that you should learn Arabic language to understand this verse.....
in Islam....god isn't limited by time and space.....at the moment you are created...the time..the date..the kind of life ur going to live...the way you are going to die is already known...
what a god would be if he didnt know what will happen in the future...GOD ISN'T LIMITED BY NO TIME OR SPACE..such as."the time is near and the moon had split "
it means that : the tims will come and the moon would be split.... already
I would like to clarify a a former statement I wrote. "It is sad that superstition and ignorance triumphs over factual evidence; even in ancient times." What I meant was scientific proofs were known in ancient times, even in the 7th century CE many of the so called science in some holy books were being taught in schools throughout the Middle East/Africa/Eastern Europe. This struggle between proof and belief is still dividing much of the people around the world.
When I was in High School I read parts of the 1,001 Arabian Nights. These Qur'an/Biblical/Hindi tales are no different than fantasy. It is sad that superstition and ignorance triumphs over factual evidence; even in ancient times. Thanks for telling the truth.
I came to the same conclusion between a number of Old Testament movies (I'm sure you know the ones) and 'Jason and the Argonauts', in which I noticed that the only difference between one being 'true' and one being 'mythical' was solely founded on the basis that people still believed in one of them. I was 6 at the time, ha ha.
It's Nickel Back Gotta Be Somebody but with a violin.

For a religion that is against sorcery, splitting the moon is sorcery. NASA knows that there are machines on the moon, and man made structures are on the moon. No religion had stated that yet.
Someone asked the question of moon split to NASA scientists. The answer was:
"My recommendation is to not believe everything you read on the internet. Peer-reviewed papers are the only scientifically valid sources of information out there. No current scientific evidence reports that the Moon was split into two (or more) parts and then reassembled at any point in the past.

Wow..........I watched this video again and was indeed shocked at this feeble attempt to "debunk" Islam. these images which are presented are not used by any mainstream scholar to prove the moon was split...for Islam has been around for 1400 years and only in the last 60 years have these satellite images been possible. Therefore, for time before the images people would have used the images as evidence??
Hundreds of miracles were performed by the prophet sws, with the Quran being the greatest
Each of the prophets were sent to their time and place. The prophet muhammad sws was the last of the prophets. He was sent to the whole of humanity. Each prophets came with miricles for their time and place people if there was any doubt. Muhammed'd sws Miricle stands to this day. And that is the miracle of the Quran.
Look at all the muslims, who use lies about wonders in order to spread their evil religion. It is such a joke, they cannot sell "death penalty for apostasy" and therefore they invent stupid wonders.
PS: Can you give any evidence for angels? Probably not, because religions are primitive made up nonsense. Sorry, to offend.
@xXBlackxRebelXx yup. i wouldn't say unrecognisable...but the chronos quartet bring out the best in the songs they cover. the violin makes me want to sing along
The funny thing about verses 54:1-2 is that they say in a past tense that the end of the world drew near, obviously it didn't or we wouldn't be sitting here 1400 years later :)
At 1:00, don't you mean "astronomical events" instead of "astrological events"?
I understand that astronomy and astrology departed ways definitely much later, but still the interpretation of the astronomical observations as "astrological" in the modern sense would be culture-specific.
The only way he could cut the moon in half with a sword, is if the moon were a small object in the sky. A light, as the ancient semitic tribes viewed it to be.
If "God" really gave a crap about using the moon as a sign why didn't he place a Koran right next to where we landed on the moon? Imagine if Neil Armstrong found a Koran on the moon? All of Earth would be Muslim right now.
Great video. And one more nail to the coffin of this claim: the age of these cracks are typically millions or even billions years old, as Moon is no longer geologically active.
Well, we have a number of these rifts here on Earth. I've been to the incredible East African one. Does that mean our planet was also split at some stage?
Once upon a time, a holy prophet on the moon used his divine powers to prove a miracle - he split the Earth, the spectators on the moon saw this and they were convinced! Even to this day we see cracks no this Earth!
Yeah, that's a laughable claim. The Moon was known to fault and subside in its very ancient past. Most of the features we see on the moon are incredibly ancient faults and rilles are usually just a few hundred Kms long and nothing we could observe with the naked eye. The man in the moon composed of the seas [mare] are several hundred up to 100's of kms across. The largest craters 1-200kms across require binoculars and steady hands to pick out. A complete recent splitting is out of the question.
@MsMrNoface And now the science have actualy shown the moon is not dead and inate but actualy has some movements of the crust in recent times, geologicaly speaking.
@Vogter2100 Yeah, I saw a couple of articles on that recently. It has been known for some time that there are Moonquakes, and the presence of inactive volcanic domes tell us there must be pressure underneath to keep the domes from collapsing, so it's not surprising there is some activity. Still, there's no way something so dramatic as a "splitting of the Moon" could happen without leaving signs and being noted by other cultures. Maybe it was just a fireball in the foreground of the Moon?
I've seen delusional people from Egypt who believe it on it's own merit, people come back with 'actually it was a donkey' (as if it somehow altered the probability to realistic standards) and other people that claim it was stairs he walked up on.
I would love to see one though, but seeing as it's not in the Quran itself, It will most likely just be dismissed as a 'human error' or 'metaphorical'.
@Islamulhaqiyya A donkey with wings! Why didn't astronautic agencies like nasa think of that instead of building expensive rockets and lunar modules. Ignore the issue of wings efficiency and breathing outside the atmosphere.
@synsei1 Well, if the prophet went spiritually, he could survive the speed and breathe, i think, the scientists do not have the ability to create supernatural beings but allah almighty does, allah created the planets floating with the absence of gravity, but the scientitst did not use that, allah can do these things.
@Islamulhaqiyya There is nothing like "absence of gravity, planets actually exist BECAUSE of gravity, there is nothing supernatural involved or implied.
"but the scientitst did not use that" what do you mean? Use what?...
Please learn something about the Universe before making more laughable comments, or show us a supernatural creature living in outer space.
