Marijuana is so much more safer than alcohol. My dad says he would rather me drive high on weed than driving drunk. It's impossible to overdose on, and a harmless drug all together. I hate how he keeps comparing marijuana to heroin, meth, and crack/cocaine.
@miklrod So typical of prohibitionists. Did you hear him at the beginning of the discussion? He mischaracterized Gov, Johnson's position as calling for the legalization of all drugs, when all he is calling for is the legalization of marijuana. So basically he was employing the straw man fallacy. Then he said that marijuana was a different matter when compared to other drugs, he is using the old argument that nobody gets arrested for marijuana anymore. Oh yes, there are those that are that blind!
@MrGSmith129 I Just don't get it y'know? legalization could really save the american economy. hemp (male cannabis) can be made into fuel, food, construction supplies, paper, oil, and much more, and marijuana can be used as a very healthy medicine. that, compound with the tax revenue and the money that will be saved on our jail system would be well worth it. AND our jail cells would be open for REAL criminals.
Also, you will never control drugs until there is a legal framework for regulating them. Black markets in vice breed crime.
