This band is amazing. Different and completely talented. If anyone talks shit about them try finding your root notes and runs on this song. Try to play it . The bass line is Jane's addiction/Led Zeppelin esque, the keyboard vocal melody a la queen and the pattern brilliant . Don't fuck

80's music had the charm of synthesizers, harps, keyboard chords and pedaled up vocals. Really its actually found in todays retro music, but Head over Heels is one of those songs which mixes the heavy vocals into the beauty of smooth simple down to earth swinging fun music. Tears for Fears. :-)

i dont know about all of you, but i get the sensation that Tears for Fears was the if not one of the first bands to present beautiful music based on self-discover and personal growth... Sort of along the lines of The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, and nowadays the notorious Radiohead (i hate that band)
