Your statement makes no sense, given the fact it's first-person it means one has to react more to sound rather then sight, expecially in games like crysis, it's development team even said so, if anything, that fact, including the possibility for very stategically based attack/defense possibilities makes fps's much more demanding on the brain then most other games.
In SK gaming people below 140 IQ have no chance in playing professional starcraft / tft at KeSPA, KT-KTF or WCG events, that's why they have preliminary tests.
While for Counter Strike, Quake and UT the minimal IQ required is 100 IQ. If that makes no sense to you, then I guess you never attended such events, and you are probably just a casual player.
I don't see how preset testing result limits could really define the entire limits of a type of player group, but... whatever.

I also totally agree pc's are better atm, but I think consoles will catch up. Well, at least I know sony has a chance to.
I just find consoles more convenient. (Chill in bed, on the couch, bring it to a friends house, etc.) I do turn to my PC for tf2, and sometimes crysis. But I see myself as a console fanboy due to the fact I was raised around them.

koolman your graphics card is ok, you need at least 2gb more ram and a new processor [get the core 2 quad Q6600 2.4ghz, Its good and you can overclock it to 3.Ghz.

Hey you I also have same pc.Geforce 9500gt is great graphics card.Our problem is ram we must have atleast 2gb.I play games in highest settings but in some games i put textures to medium because it needs more ram.I am collecting money to buy more ram then I shall play with high textures and windows vista.YOUR CARD IS GREAT.I also have geforce9500gt.One day I borrowed 2gb ram from my friend all the games were running 100 percent smoothly.

well i have an intel Core 2 duo 1.66 Ghz and i played it great i had it on medium quality still looked great moved it to high still worked great but when i got into a lot of action got bad and on high quality only got bad when i fired my weapon
