If you listen to Axl interviews he says how Slash has minipulated the media perception of GNR which I agree with .. and also Slash tried to take over the band.

Slash didn't try and take over the band, he went and did an album with snakepit and Axl got pissed off and thought he was trying to go solo.

well that's the point of contention. Slash always claims that Axl completely rejected the snakepit album, and Axl always claims that he wanted to rewrite some of it and Slash wouldn't. I think Slash was kind of immature about the whole thing.

if you believe in something, you should support it. He just dissapeared and it's too bad slash's ego and axl's ego are so large that those guys can't settle their differences. Rumours have been swirling that they were offered 125 million to reunite and they turned it down.
