Oh God please let it bie good! I'll watch it if its coming to the european theatres but I#m scared. Dragonball is with Sailor Moon my whole chidlhood and I love dragonball! If the movie is bad, they will kill the legend of it like they did before. Maybe it would be better if they had chosen an asian guy as Son Goku. I said the next best, not big. There was a dragon ball live action movie made in japan, but it was horrible. There are not that many actors in japan, so most movies are made by Americans, its what we're good at. Thats why there is so much anime in japan. Thats the gist of it.

yes i know that movie and believe me i have see it. in japan they are many great actors the problem is that they try always to do the movies like the manga or anime to look alike and thats is their problem when they make movies based on the cartoon. and that they don't have money to make good cgi. but anyway right now in japan they have a lot of great actors to do the film.

I know alot of people will get dissapointed because they don't get a "total conversion" but that wouldn't work either, it would just look weird. But they could've kept the storyline the same, as in goku living in the forest, meets bulma etc. But the look of characters and the exact same looking creatures would not work in a live action movie as this. I know someone will understand what i'm saying here.

It's unknown at the moment, as in Shonen Jump, they mentioned that the trailer was supposed to be shown with the new Harry Potter movie that was SUPPOSED to come out in November, but that got pushed back to July, so the trailer wouldn't make sense to come out then when the movie is slated for April.
