  • @yomama12password Try asking on the halloweenforum website. I still haven't added any sound effects outside of a cd to my haunt! LOL

  • Dude....Bad Frig-gin Assed!!!!!!!

  • it the paper mache waterproof?

also what is your favorit recipe?

    thanks in advance!

  • @sfgamfreek I just mix glue and water. I don't really measure. You need to paint it with latex paint or a polyeurothane finish if you want it outside.

  • Thanks for the inspiration and the tips. I already have 3 zombie heads ready to attach to zombie bodies.

  • Awesome.

  • I got to get busy on my paper machie for this year. Halloween's approaching fast and I have no new props!

  • I hear ya. One of the reasons for my lack of how to vids is because the free time I do have is spent working on things I wanna get done!

  • Awesome!!!!!

  • gotta say it these videos are putting me in the halloween spirit

  • awesome.... I like the pumpkins. Great works Dr. Kreepy!

  • scary!

  • how do u keep it from geting wet

  • You have to seal it with latex paint or a deck sealer like polyeurothane seal.

  • Hey there DrKreepy, I've been doing a lot of paper mache here lately, life size Halloween stuff, I stopped using newspaper and I just using paper grocery bags and also I bought some disposable baby wipes, pull them out of the container and let them dry, you wouldn't believe how good those things are ! dip them in your 'mix'..dries fast and mold in just about any form you want real easy. Anyhow, what I want to ask you is, what kind of sealer do you use on paper mache things? thanks, you rock!!

  • I use a polyeurothane sealer I bought from Lowes. It's held up well over the last 3 years. You just have to make sure you get in every nook and cranny!

  • u need to make a tutorial on papier mache pleaseeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

  • man i have to stop throwing away my junk mail. i did't know you could get that type of detail. but what do you do to protect it from the weather.

  • Polyeurothane sealer from Lowes. It a deck seal, I believe.

  • good to know, thanks!

  • you rock drkreepy i love creepy scary halloween stuff

  • I agree with you Doc. We use Paper Mache on all our projects. Kids won a lot of awards with it.

  • dr kreepy i jsut watched your zombie guy video it is incredible and now ive seen this too your corpse guy is ace too

could you do a tutorial on how to make a 6 ft standing figure that you can put your own clothes and masks on,

you could put a michael myers costume on

or a jason voorhees costume on

    leatherface

    freddy kruegar

    pinhead

    pennywise

    etc etc

if you could do that it would be great id love to have a 6ft standing figure of my favourite horror icons:D

  • The tutorial is coming soon!

  • AWESOME!!:D had you alredy thought about it? or jsut liked my idea?:)

  • I've had a ton of positive feedback on it. It just takes me a while to get cracking!

  • Great!:D:D:D im looking forward to this you shoukld do it as a michael myers or jason one it would be incredible!!:D

    your freind adam:D

  • Those were all very well done! Also see the YouTube video entitled: Nancy - The Automaton, it is paper mache, and eerie as hell, as well.

Crypto-Propology? Nice!!!!!!!! Did you come up with that, it's new to me.

A side note on latex, all of the stuff I made about 18 years ago are now VERY fragile and will crumble if it is handled. I worked so hard on those thing :( Oh well, I guess I will just have to make it out of paper mache now!

Can you hear the screams yet? I can :p

    Your fiend,

    Nico

  • Crypto Propology actually comes from a halloweenforum poster named 'Putrid' He uses mache because he's allergic to latex. I just spent a week repairing my latex props because it's beginning to deteriorate!

  • Wow! That Nancy is creepy! Thanks!

  • Great paper mache' promo!!! Quick question...what program do you use to make your videos? I love your work!!!

  • Thanks! I use windows movie maker. I have Sony Vegas but i'm too lazy to learn it!

  • Wow, some really rank looking stuff, lots of great setups. I didn't know Halloween was such a big deal..

  • Second biggest decorating holiday in the U.S. next to Christmas!

  • Really, wow. I'm kinda getting into Halloween decor the past few years, but there's not a lot of people around the neighbourhood to appreciate it.. Sadly. But I do it anyway, makes great pictures.

  • Yup! And what's really unique about Halloween is that a large percentage of those decorating are making the props themselves. I don't know of many people who "make" X-mas decorations.

  • Yes! Well said!

  • Paper mache is great stuff you just need to know how to work it! It may be time consuming but its well worth it at the end

  • creepy... nice, very nice

  • jigsaw in the backgroung lol! cool vid man cant wait for halloween this year ;)
