  • God Bless You, Your Family, and Friends impacted by this devastation. Wonderful tribute! Peace and Light

  • Faye, this was amazing! I have told many about this! These floods have been horrible and hurt so many. Hope everyone ends up okay and can rebuild and move forward! Good luck and God bless! Just one of you XTREME family members! :)

  • Thank you for putting this beautiful song on YouTube--so well done and a worthy tribute. Our family (Roy & Mollie Blumenberg & children) lived in the Pinhook area in the 1950s. I remember George Williams as a good man and good neighbor.

I pray God's blessings on all the people of Pinhook, Missouri, and the Bird's Point-New Madrid Spillway.

  • This video is great! I always knew that the Williams and Jeffro families could sing.

Excellent! I grew up in Pinhook and your mother and father were dear sweet people

Hope everything goes well for everyone affected.

  • Beautiful song and words. I was just heartsick at what happened down there. Grew up in EP and love the land and people down there. God bless your family and all those who lost so much in those few seconds of explosion that changed lives forever.

  • I'm touched by your beautiful tribute. I am a travel writer and photographer working on a book about life along the Mississippi. Although I traveled the entire River for 90 days, the flooding made it clear the research for my book wasn't finished. I recently was blessed to meet your father and grandfather, George Williams. I have added a post to my blog "Surrendering to Serendipity" about him and Pinhook. I hope I can be of some small help by sharing this story. Gayle Harper

  • i loved this song why yall didnt add me in the song tribute

  • Faye Billy Tangie and Missy you really touch my heart I know that this flood can never take what granny stated so i will try to be happy today and not sad. When ever mother's day comes i sit and look at old photo of home and now along with those pictures i will make a tradition to look at old pictures from Pinhook day and our family reunion. Love yall for uplifting my spirits I have listen to this song so much that I know the words already. I am going to trying and download it to my ipod.

  • Really enjoyed your song. My roots are from South IL between the Mighty Mississippi and the Ohio. I was born in Cairo and graduated from college in Cape. I cried the first time I heard your song-- it is so touching for all who love the heartland and will always call it home. Yes, the Lord will see you thru. Hope your song goes viral. You all sound great together! Julie Edwards Glascock, Stillwater OK

  • This is a beautiful song. I'm glad that my family is so talented and blessed. Things might seem hard for now. All those who lost homes, watch GOD change things for each and everyone of you. GOD BLESS you all.

  • I can relate because my hometown was destroyed after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, La. It is a sad moment, but, it is a moment that brings so many people together. Your voices tell the story and thank you so much for sharing.

  • This song truly blessed me. Yes it's painful to look at the photos of the flood that have devastated our village, but this song brings back beautiful memories of living in Pinhook. We were a family and it is so important that we let everyone know that Pinhook holds a special place in our hearts and we can't allow it to be forgotten, neither it's devastation taken lightly. Love you all~
