  • Make no mistake. The voice delivers my heart into the hands of grace at 2;24...G...

  • what was the point of "the departed"? all i saw a shot-for-shot remake of the original hong kong film. oops wrong thread.

  • cuacua cua cua cuaaaaa

    cuacua cua cua cuaaaaaaaaaaa

    miamia!

  • I love Faye's voice. Faye sounds beautiful and ethereal. Love this song. :)

  • What is the point of this?

  • where can find the asian version of this CD?

  • Faye is goddess-- not-- back to Liz... Sorry

  • faye best

  • wooow! thrilllllls

  • @tixlot: i am surprised that you question your Liz's taste. Saying Faye Wong is rubbish is like saying Liz has poor taste in singers LOL

  • @pydbl

Well.... Faye Wong bet Liz so hard for writing songs for her, and the duet version of "Serpentskirt" has just released with the Asia version of "Milk & Kisses". It was just a commercial collaboration. Liz wasn't really appreciated her !

  • @tixlot you mean faye begged liz (not bet), and liz didnt appreciate her? then why did she write her 3 songs in faye's impulsive album?

  • @pydbl agreed, i commented on that post too. and if liz didnt appreciate faye then why did she write like 3 songs for faye's impulsive album lol? some people are not wise.

  • Golden Eagle Flight.....a burst of feeling, ...two voices weaving this flight

  • I think its Elvish or Fey.

  • Ct invited Faye to sing this song together

later the CT wrote a few songs for Faye

  • Sepentskirt was both Liz and Faye singing..duet ..read the album credits

  • nah i'm sorry...this belongs to Fraser's voice

  • Never heard this version before, it works. Faye Wong's voice works quite well. Probably the only other voice I can imagine working with the Cocteau Twins.

  • This song reminds me of being on opium in a dingy bar in indonesia.... She has the best feel...

  • So hauntingly great!

Faye suit this type of song well!

  • first time i heard cocteau twins I thought for sure it was two asian women

  • I just wish Liz and Faye did more work together..throw in Lisa Gerrard?? OMG

  • @thebalox2003 WOW would be right!!

  • what language is faye singing??

  • they are not singing in any language...

  • really?

  • elvish

  • thankyou so much for posting this, cannot believe I havent heard this version :)

    Its stunning :)

  • Haha, I love how spiegel is insulting me over using Chinese. I'm an American you idiot, born and raised here in Pennsylvania...

I bet you are some mega-patriotic fool who thinks using a translator to speak to other people in the world via the Internet means you are un-American or an "appeaser". People like you make my country look bad, and I'm sick and tired of it. The world is changing; deal with it...

  • I heard they made her an honorary cocteau twin.

  • Fear!!!!

    Speak in Gailge

  • Faye Wong should do a shoegaze album.

  • She needs to put out another album to save the music industry!

  • o man shoegazing with faye wang

i should have imagined that first

  • Did Wong Fie do any albums like this? I could have sworn I read that she did a dream pop album or something, but I have no idea where to look or what it's called.

    Anyways, a lovely version.

  • Fu Zao (Faye Wong album)

look it up on wiki, cocteau twins actually composed two songs for that album.

  • she did a trip-hop album be4..

  • faye wong adored liz and liz respect faye's talents. liz has written original songs FOR faye after this collaboration. faye is THE asian diva.

  • holy hell! an asian liz fraser? who'duh thunk it?! i'll definitely have to check out what else faye wong has to offer. i mean, if she has worked with ct before, you know her stand-alone projects can't be bad

  • Song is HOT. 5 stars. Period. Still gives me goosebumps. Interesting version..nicely done.

  • 我个人比较偏爱王菲的版本,因为她的声音很清脆。但是Elizabeth的版本一点也不逊。

  • Beautiful Song! There are no words for the legendary quest...May Every Elf, Dwarf, and Forest Nymph Guide you to the path of True Passion, Sex, Love, Long Life and Good Fortune!

  • Dreamy song :-)

  • Som dos Anjos.

  • Faye stand her own style to perform this song.

  • Nice song.

  • Thanks for this video Rickotube - I downloaded it already, it sounds so spiritual, the music rocks.

  • How did you did it? I mean, i never know we could download any video from here..

  • Faye does have a nice voice but it just seems like a direct imitation of Liz. There doesn't seem to be any of her actually in it.

  • Faye has a lovely vioce, but Liz's is more than lovely - she uses her vioce as an instrument. There are plenty of good singers, but ones of Liz's calibre are rare indeed.

  • What do you mean by calibre? Vocal skill or style? She obviously doesn't have the calibre to sing a coloratura soprano's repertoire! lol

  • I meant what I said in my original post - that Liz uses her voice as an instrument. I am not a singet/ musician, so I do not know technical terms, I just know that of its type Liz's voice is superlative - a laypersons opinion!

  • 嘩 ... see proud to see hk singer work with couteau twins @.@

  • Superb music...pitty the video...a little dull.Sorry. Can you remake it?

  • agree with you

  • 我在美国。我听西方音乐。她的声音适合这种音乐。非常恰当。

  • wuts ur point

  • but youtube has multi language user face, they could simply have logged in throught the chinese portal

  • What's your problem? It's not personal. Go ahead and use that "chink" word. It just shows that you have NO CLASS and you represent YOUR PEOPLE. Feel free to go to a Chinese website and type in English, fool. You're such a joke.

  • I think this music is the original version. It was a collaboration of Cocteau Twins and Faye Wang. Cocteau Twin has always been her favourite band, so she flew to the UK to visit them and recorded this song with them.

  • I don't think Faye's performance is any bad. You're all bull shit

  • Liz wrote this song to be done as a duet for Faye. Liz and Faye are on very good terms.

  • Twenty bucks if you heard this without knowing Faye Wong sung in it, you'd eat it up like crack cocaine.

  • man, i love exciting, enthralling music.

  • 我爱王菲

  • I still remember how my hands trembled when I first heard about their upcoming collaboration of this song in the news. And then the excitement of seeing this CD in a CD shop in Hong Kong when it first came out. Well...many years have passed. Thanks for uploading this.

  • its probs delay reverb and chorus on the guitar

  • It has such a psychedelic quality, making me just want to fall into the abyss of deep dreams.

  • Agreed.

  • Oh by the way - if anyone knows of a way I can get hold of the CD this song is on please let me know!. I've checked the usual places(ebay/amazon Japan etc) with no luck. I eventually sourced it from a Japanese supplier but they couldn't accept my Visa debit unfortunately. I bought the UK version of the CD back when it was released, but I had no idea about Faye Wongs contribution then (or had heard of her even).

  • Right now on Ebay there is a seller currently auctioning a copy of the Asian Version of Milk & Kisses with Faye Wong duet!

  • So this is what a multiple auditory orgasm sounds like. It's been a long time since I had sex, but I know it was never this good.

  • Best song in the world if you ask me ;o)

  • this is the first time i've heard faye sing a cocteaus track and she is amazing.

  • such a sexy rang in her voice

  • Interesting - when I first heard E. Fraiser of CT many years ago, at their begining, not knowing anything about the group, my first impression was that I was listening to someone from the Orient! Nice to see somebody else making that connection, and getting a chance to perform one of the bands classic songs. A real compliment! I will look and listen further into this artist!

  • Absolutely perfect!!!!!!! I love this song!

  • she's such an unique talent. what do angels really sound like? i imagine like her pumped up to eardrum shattering volume, LOL. this song rocks

  • oh, you chose a great faye pic! she was just perfect right then.

  • Amazing!

  • i like this a lot, i think it is pretty good.

  • still I say it's weird to hear someone do someone else's song like that... kinda real close with the everything but a different singer I wonder how that all came about....I'd like to see here try pandora..right..

  • You hit the nail on the head!

  • B E A U T I F U L

  • I like Wong Fei's versions of Bluebeard & Know Who You Are At Every Age.

  • anyway, to correct the description of this song. Faye is not singing in Mandarin. She is not singing in any language.

  • That's not true, she is singing in Mandarin. She's just saying in a way where some of the lyrics are difficult to understand. Just like it's difficult to know exactly what Liz was singing.

  • thanks so much..i never heard this version before..faye wong and Liz have been very good patners..Liz even wrote a few songs for her which faye used in her chinese albums

  • hauntingly beautiful, love both Liz & Faye.

  • Just Imagine Bruce Lee´s "Enter the Dragon" with this Sondtrack, guys

  • Don't play this song until Bruce & Han enter into that room of mirrors. It won't work with any other scene of that movie.

  • faye wong is liz fraser reincarnated.

  • I've had dreams with this song...

  • HAUNTING

  • Incredible

  • my god this is simply psychotropic! music this beautiful can change someone's life...

  • fuck that faye wong is right there dam ! ! ! ! ! but I think I hear "the liz" right behind her some.. but still there is a difference..

  • do u have any idea who faye wong is?? if not..please shut up

  • It's pretty obvious Liz's secondary track is still there in the 2nd verse and subsequent chorus. I can hear it as clearly as I can on Milk & Kisses. Still, Faye does sound lovely :)

  • I love this song, thank you for putting it up here. Liz plus faye, perfection.

  • What an amazing discovery. I had no idea they recorded this!

  • Faye has also recorded 'Know who you are at every age' and 'bluebeard' in chinese, which are very nice. Faye has also done some covers of The Cranberries, they're not bad either.

  • Jusr to correct you. These 2 songs recorded by Faye Wong is in Cantonese NOT Mandarin

  • This is might my poor understanding and off topic but I didnt mention anything about mandarin. Isn't mandarin & canton both chinese?

  • Yes, both of them are Chinese but in diff pronunciations

  • They are both dialects of China. But mandarin is now the standard Chinese.

  • faye best

  • This is my favorite song of all time - What a beautiful version. I have to go any lie down now!

  • marvelous!!!!
