  • shit, Qantas has a ton of problems with their A380s

  • Just proves on how rubbish the A380 is because Airbus had just gone way to far with the A380 with this super jumbo when it can't even handle its own weight

  • was there a camer on the top of the plane??

  • the fuvking add

dont let me see the " fire"

  • @gabocardoso1 yes. but only some airplane have the camera mode in the passenger screen. like SQ, they don't have.

  • Did the plane taxi to the gate?

  • Sit upstairs in this one so you will be the last to die.

  • @madisonelectronic yeh, pay 3 times extra everytime you fly, just to avoid to small posibile risk.. hahah you are a genious and if the plane crashes that bad, you will die anyway XD

  • Is this a joke a Burst tire? this happens every day!

  • SCAREBUS!!!

  • @Corkscrew777doughnut Boring 747...

  • @roryj123ok true......

  • just to further prove how tough the Australians are, they scoff at a lit plane tire

  • ''we're on fire!'' its like she wants to go ... YAYYY! @S

  • I love CALM passengers "Oh..we're on fire"

None of that "OMFG HOLY FUCK! LETS GTFO OUT NOW *followed by silly screams*"

  • @aceflyer89

u are right. they are really really very calm upon seeing the burning wheel on the monitor.

  • Why a380 keep involve with so many problem.

  • @ronnyjustron Quantas's A380! Their pilots.

  • @ronnyjustron Because its brand new. Its normal on brand new aircraft to find problems that over time will disapear with different engineering approaches.

  • Qantas just isn't having very good luck with the A380 so far

  • Ohh wait Asians took over Qantas thats right...

  • A380 again .... this plain is going to cost us 500 people before it goes where Concorde is in history.

  • good rich needs to work on his landing gear lol

  • @metalfreak1892 its*

  • tbh, it shows how safe planes are in the sence of they can still land safely with its tiers blown.

  • Whoah there is a camera in the back of the plane! COOOOOL! ! ! ! !

  • @KillerBeaner96 I can remember only engine problem with A380, other than that Boeings have crashed more in all recent years. Also 787 engine exploded some time ago.

  • God the A380 is getting alot of problems

  • @kirza94 Engine problems were Rolls Royces fault, and tyres burst not planes fault at all, its has happened to every aircraft type. Did you know that during early years of 747 cargo door opened during flight, made big hole to its fuselage and many people were killed after they got sucked out from the plane. Thats what I call real problem.

  • @Pvjinflight The engines are part of the plane...making it the plane so if a engine goes wrong its also the plane having a problem. Plus the tires dont just explode this would either be a hard landing/fast landing or ground crew problem not just a thing which happens. And there has only been one scenario where the cargo door opened.

  • @kirza94 Yes, but still A380´s with other engine variants were ok, anyway blame rolls royce from that. Tires can explode if they are damaged for some reason, like hitted by part on the runway, or maintenance issues. This one had nothing to do with planes design at all. And yeah there has been only one scenario with 747 cargo door opening as they fixed it after that, but still its more serious than A380 RR engine problem.

  • @Pvjinflight What im saying is the A380 has only been around for a few months and has had alot of problems the 747 has been around for 40 odd years and had a few. The way the A380 is going it will overtake the number of 747 accidents in a few years

  • @kirza94 Rubbish. Tyre bursts really have nothing to do with plane design, they may have taken some damage, or maintained badly. There has been hundreds of tyre bursts accidents with 747, thats sure. A380 has been around for 6 years, get your facts right. 747 has had over 30 crash resulted to injuries or death/major damage of the plane.

Its much more cautionary thing if there is still design problems after tens of years of flying (like in case of 747 and 737), than during first years.

  • @kirza94 Cargo door blow out happened in 1989, so about 20 years after first flight of 747, and Boeing still didnt fix the problems which resulted in death of 9 passengers. Also in 1996 TWA 800 hull loss was partially Boeings fault, what kind of retard installs cooling system that heats up just over tank, which heated up fuel & made fuel air mix that is much more easily ignited by small sparks than fuel itself.

No, A380 will be definetely safer.

  • @Pvjinflight All im saying is the A380 has been around for a few months and has had many problems.

  • @kirza94 A380 has been around for 6 years, not for few months, get your facts right. It has had only one problem that had something to do with plane design, and thats not much at all.

  • @Pvjinflight its been around for 4 years so you get your facts right!. And its had many problems the engines have had atleast 3 problems in the space of 2 months. Plus theres been blow outs and many interior/exterior problems other than those ones.

  • @kirza94 First flight was in 2005, so get your facts right. Can you give me link to all those problems during 2 months? There has been only one problem with engines, and that was the Rolls Royce one that is fixed and wasnt Airbus fault. Of course there has been normal engine blowouts and other things like that, but every type of plane has them, parts just fail on every plane. What kind of interior/exterior problems? I cant remember any.

  • @Pvjinflight A planes "career" starts on its first commercial flight as thats the point when the plane is 99.9% completed. There has been only one/two serious problems with the engines, but there has been many smaller problems. There has been alot of Interior/exterior problems not all concerning dynamics or anything but there has been problems with the wiring. Plus the 747 was made in the 60's and the A380 in the 21st century surely the problems should been removed.

  • @kirza94 Source of that information about "interior/exterior problems" or it didnt happen.

  • @Pvjinflight cant do links on youtube but in google type A380 Wiring Problems. And you're really in self denial... Oh and in the suggestions another video of a engine failure/blow out J/s.

  • @silentscratch maybecthat is because 747 has been out longer, way longer, than 380???

  • Aint it funny how at least two Qantus Airbus A380's have now had failiers and no other A380's have

  • 747 the real deal for over 40 years

  • @turnfootsherlock Just to remind you, more 747's have crashed than A380's as of now (zero). Sorry to cut your celebrations short turnfootsherlock!

I'd throw the blame on Qantas. Ridiculous things like that always happen to that airline. All the other airlines except for Qantas manage to keep their A380's intact, and keep their engines from blowing up. Its all in Qantas. Nothing to do with Airbus or Boeing, for the fans who have a more shallow grasping of the concept.

  • 747 the real deal

  • why when this happens to planes it the pilots fault its not its wear and tear that things fricking huge wheels aint gonna last long with something that big

  • ...and oh yes, the maintenace people. Le'ts start blaming now. We'll have plenty of people to blame when something disasterous happens.

  • As more and more of these monstrocities hit the skys, we are going to see more and more kinds of incidents like this. It's only a matter of time before one of these goes down and all hell's going to break loose. You will see the fingers pointing in every direction. Tons and tons of stress over time will eventually take it's toll on these bohemoths. God help the poor passengers when one goes down.

  • @Handiman544 Yea, and god bless all the pepps being killed in car accidents every year, i think they are somewhere around 5 that every year dies in a car accident. So it must be much worse being on an airoplane, and the risk getting killed must be much bigger then by car accident, dont you think ?

  • Its nice to see that the passengers kept calm on this incident. Its proof of how much aviation safety has evolved throughout the years.

  • Why is it the Qantas A380 always have problem, like the recent engine problem it had last year.

  • Singapore airlines, Emirates, Air france and lufthansa too has A380, y always Qantas A380s have problems??? Weird.

  • @irvinmanohar Isn't Qantas having UNION labor problems?

  • @KillerBeaner96 airbus is not the one you should blame.. idiot!!!.. the airline it self..! the maintenance.. stupid asshole!!

  • se that's why they tell you to put your electronics away when land

  • ohhhhh Airbus... what to do with them..

  • lol "where on fire" as if it's nothing

  • Passanger video?

Was the passenger sitting on the top of the plane fin filming ?

  • @Mikkhep Theres a tail cam that comes on the seat back TVs and the passenger filmed that.

  • @DVA5212 I didn't see it was a tv screen until you said it :P

    My bad.

  • Nowadays being a pilot isn't a prestigious job really. They don't do much and do not require much skills unlike the olden days.

  • @nofreedom4racists Bullshit. Pure Bullshit.

  • Qantas has had a lot of incidents those days.! This one is the 4th one.

  • @Guilland23 Yea they are really having bad luck with their planes these day.

  • @BJWTF yea and with a fairly new aircraft too.

  • That plane is just so huge!

  • hahahahahaha that was funny!

  • Any landing you walk away from is a good one.

  • why airbus you ashamed your company for giving Qantas an a380 not gonna lie i like it before all the incidents happen

  • @kingflyer223 its the other way around. airbus has fucked Qantas over all the incidents.

  • @holdenls1ssz true true

  • I work parttime at an airport and the Ramp Safety assessment we have to pass the have authorised access to airside indicates it tyre bursts are not rare and the fire guys expect a call every now and then.

  • Thats awesome

  • they seem very calm

  • The upsetting thing is, the pilots won't be praised by the airlines, as they are simply doing what they were trained to do.

  • first this and now an angine failure?? qantas used to be sooo safe in safety.. weird sentence :P

  • i think the tires just said i dont feel like working today :D

  • 3 fails by qantas a380 xD

  • Qantas sucks shitttt worst airline in the world. even afghanistan s airline is more secure than qantas

  • Qantas again.... oh... um...ah... who are they trying to fool when Qantas executives say their airline is the "safest in the world". I am a proud Aussie, but stopped flying Qantas years ago, not because of saety issues, but because of the extreme arrogance of its cabin crew. They are absolutely horrible (and old!!!). If you're a Qantas flyer, try flying Singapore Airlines, Malaysian Airlines and Thai Airlines - you'll never go back to the Arrogant Kangaroo!!

  • @ThomasAUSTRALIA1 I agree with you, but what airline I have to fly with in domestic flight's in Australia??? I think Quantas is better then Jet Star or Virgin Blue.

  • @MrSarsenY qantas is surprisingly good domestically when you look at the quality of the other airlines, however you do pay more for it.

  • @MrSarsenY .... better, but not good enough.

  • WTF is with A380s? First landing gear shit, then engine cover blown off, all that under one year. SHITTEST PLANE EVER DESIGNED AND MADE.

B747 is still the best and the fastest yet, excluding the concorde.

  • @VNTO3 .... The engine cover blow off has nothing to do with the Airbus A380 design. The engine is NOT made by Airbus. It is made by RR and attached to the wing. So if you want to lay blame and point fingers, go to RR, not Airbus.

  • oh its qantas, no surprise there

  • im pretty sure the pilots where like...

"this is your captain speaking chuck Norris, um.. we have an engine failure, but we are going to land soon so shut the fuck up and let me concentrate on this landing or i will personally Chris brown each one of you, thank you for your attention :) "

  • wait so now there is a cam in the tail and the passangers can watch the landing??? Not sure if thats a good thing.

  • @BurninC4rtrage but boeing has way more crashes than airbus,

  • @mike1998ish Thats because they build more airplanes. if you set up a porportion problem airbus has way more. Plus from a pilots perspective they have way to much tecnology. most of them you can not bank more than 40 degrees and in a emergency situation you may need that.

  • @gapcountryside It's a 60 degree limit, which is a structural one. The airframe would be overstressed if banking more than this.

  • Good job to the pilots!

these are the situations where the pilot really shows his ability

  • @BurninC4rtrage everyone has to start somewhere, soon there will be a A380 crash [hopefly literaly not] and the new Boeing 747-800 is also going to have its share of problems you have crawl before you can walk. in this case Hover 5inches before you can do 45000 feet ;-)

  • "we are on fire" lol. scary though heyi?

  • how was this filmed? from the rudder??

  • @Kinematographer theres a camera at the top of the tail and everyone inside has a camera on the seat in front of them and they can see it if they want too, theres another camera on the underside of the fuselage so you can see directly below the plane

  • the pilots are trained constantly to make sure that they are up to date and some of the best pilots were chosen to captain the a380's

  • @BurninC4rtrage What a load of crap, Boeing aircraft have their share of problems.

  • FAT ASS

  • I guess its the old saying right time right place,it just happens.from Alan Bond,Hoxton Park.

  • @BurninC4rtrage No, just like to troll morans such as yourself.

  • @BurninC4rtrage Yeah,never happens on a boeing does it.,

    Fucking idiot,.

  • Airbus don't make the tyres and landing gear - I think they're made in North America.

  • Comment removed

  • @Struckgold actually michelin made em

  • @Struckgold Mexico, to be exact. Because we all know your trying to degrade the USA, so, FUCK YOU, SIR! :)

  • tries burst all the time, but since its qantas, IT MUST BE maintenance problem. lmao

  • oh my god the bloody news reporters made such a massive deal of this in down here, i mean its not as if virgin and jetstar hasnt ever had a blown tire, besides the plane can still land safley with 2 of its 22 tires blown

  • @bratonabike i agree aye, they make such a big deal out of nothing. accidents happen like that every day in the world and you dont hear about them, as soon as the media says it's big everyone believes them because people are like sheep.

  • @jman8489 exactly! and they made such a big deal beacuse thwey wtach over qantas like hawks

  • the plane is too heavy

  • accidents happen!!!!!

the a380 is still really safe

  • typical shitty airbus, no wonder it's european govt has had to lend it so much money

  • @RoidinRichie

yo tires arnt made by airbus u twit

  • It's not a big deal 6 tires for the a380 need to pop before anything bad could happen. And the landing was very smooth and the playing wasn't even close to running off the runway this video shows how smooth and safe a a380 is even when something like this happens.

  • Thumbs up pilots!!

  • @Traveler2112 to be honest, we pilots hv the toughest time wen landing...flying the plane is easy....landing put us under a high pressure to be honest....

  • @misskall - If you're "under a high pressure" when landing, I wouldn't want to fly on your aircraft - doesn't fill me with confidence. I'm a 737 pilot - landing is the best bit; even better with strong and gusty cross-winds. It's one of the few parts of the flight where you really get to use your skills.

Re the Airbus tyre failure - I don't know for sure (so correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not a 'bus pilot) but I thought the computers on the Airbus decide on where flare - not the pilots.

  • @TURB0Jam well mr ... i hv just finished my IFR rating on a BE76 n working towards ATPL, n u fly 737s so u hv far more flying experience than me.......wen i reach ur stage ill say the same...safe sky

  • Its plane "tyres" dammit.

  • These airbus models are still spanking new ... and already troubles??

    Thanks; I'll stick to a Beoing 747!

  • from which angle was 0:00 until 0:20 taken?

  • @azhan89 on the A380 there are cameras mounted on the tail, and through the IFE (In Flight Entertainment System) passengers can select to view the feed coming from the camera mounted on the tail. I believe that there are cameras also mounted on the belly of the aircraft as well.

  • Titanic v2.0

  • Hats off to the pilots!!!

  • brake overheat and seizure. sparks, fire, blown tires. offloading.

not too much for plots to do but not make it worse.

that is wuy piolots are paid for being in the air.

that 380 suspension sure is nifty though. I still don't beleive this thing takes off at almost 600tons.

nope it is that UFO 3d hologram shit NASA uses. These plains just ain't reeel.

  • i was on that flight, watched the landing on the "skycam", it was so sureal that it didnt seam real, everyone on the flight was calm. It was only afterwards that we realised what a dangerous situation we were in.

  • where was the flight from?

  • RT news anchors and reporters are the hottest things on tv. Please more Alyona and the famous walk on her set. Please for all the little boys and grown men in heat!

  • Passengers seem very calm, kudos... were they aware that something was wrong with the tires before the landing? If that was the case is it OK to show the emergency landing on the screens? wouldn't that freak out the passengers even more?

  • road* sorry long day lol

  • good job pilots! want to fly in the jump seat sometime! wish i could fly the real thing sometime down the round but im just ATC.

  • if i was on there my words would be wholey fuckkkkkkk lol but great job the pilots did

  • Great that she keeps her calm!

  • Everybody dies = GODS wrath , Some survive = GOD spared them , Everybody is OK = Merciful GOD........ Seriously? Stop giving credit to things that dont exist... AWESOME PILOTING how about that?

  • @akulabite agreed!

  • russian pilots BEST !!!

  • These are new aircraft , how the hell could this happen at all ?

  • nothing is perfect....

  • @WhereEaglesDareWWII , they said here on Australian news that the brake sensor malfunctioned and the two tires locked and wore off the rubber, then sparks / fire started.

  • Maintenance is costly. Life is cheap.

Just your everyday psychonomic system...nothing special...

  • Good thing it happened while they were landing and not 35,000 feet in the air.

  • No one hurt - ITS GREAT!

  • hmmm I wont be buying one now .....

  • pessengers on board must be badly scared..... great job by the pilots!!!!

  • @hAhan17 A Mom calming down her son who is scared of planes:

mom: "See Jimmy, that wasnt so bad."

    kid: "i guess so"

mom: "well planes aren't so scary after **TIRES BURST** HOLYY SHIT WERE ALL GONNA DIEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • cool. if just all planes had cameras like that. it would be cool almost to be in a planecrash. like watching yourself

  • @Evilfisher pffff hahhaah damn man

  • This is Airbuase plane A380.....

  • tires pop ALL the time on aircraft

  • this plane will be taken out of the air within 2 years. Not only is it unsafe generally but a super target for terrorists.
