@gregfiesta1 It actually has the same block as the 3.8L RS. The extra displacement and power is added due to the use of the crankshaft from the RSR with increased stroke dimensions (76.4mm to 80.4mm).

@ejkddorai High revs, made possible through the use of lots of titanium in the engine, and of course the balanced flat-6. I've read that an engine replacement alone is 60k british pounds due to all of the titanium.

@Egovillain Interesting. Every Jap car I've ever had has been a headache, while I've had several American cars, none of which have given me any problems whatsoever. The only exception was my 1983 Dodge Shelby Charger, which was a great looking, fun to drive car, but constantly breaking down. 2000 Mustang GT convertible, drove for 100,000 miles, never a single problem, 2007 Buick Lacrosse, owned two years now, still not a single problem. Had a 1994 Accord back in late 90s--problem after prob.
