  • DWI mans dream!

  • website is still there and yahh it actually is edited by a mac and u got to hand it to the guy hes trying

  • @stsmash What? Yep, websites still around. Still filling orders for the awesome plans. Just got the bikes out of winter storage and have been riding around town. Cant believe I am pushing 6000 miles on the yellow bike. Same parts. Same design. Same motor. (A free weed-eater from 5 years ago).

  • Where I live they are illegal on sidewalks so I'd rather have a real bike..

  • Website dead and gone. Looks like old Dave took the money and ran! And this video isn't a very good advertisement for Apple. Look at all the dead space on the video. And why would anyone give two email addresses when one will do?

  • Proves how popular the website is man! We were offline for a few hours and people started complaining! WOW! We are back online now so you can order your plans.

2 email addresses? I moved to gmail a few years ago after my *paid* Yahoo subscription ran out. duh. I still check all my addresses though. I am still waiting for your order though.

  • Why would you keep watching the video after its done anyways? Yeah, there is dead space at the end. But a person usually stops watching when the pretty pictures stop moving.

At least it seems you liked it enough to comment. :)

  • Hi i would like plans for the motor mounting thanks

  • is it a 2cycle or 4cycle engine?

  • 2 Cycle. Cheap weed whacker. 28CC. Fun fun fun!

  • how do you make it accellerate?

  • I used the original shifter handle that switched the 3 gears. It's the old twist handle like a motorcycle. I simply left the bike in 1st gear and used the cable for the throttle. It's really neat! I am upgrading the yellow bike this week to a fresh 32CC motor from the 28CC. The 28 CC is still going great but has aver 4000+ miles on it now and it has a bit of a time up hills with my 280 pounds. :) The bike frame is starting to show age too. Will have to weld it sometime soon. 4000+ miles!

  • can u send me the plans?

  • Cool but you're not a very good businessman since you give 2 completely different prices here. And those friction drives are good only on dry pavement but they are the cheapest way to go. And why not just make all the files into a pdf file for download or on a site. Why fool with stone age snail mail?

  • What two prices? The plans have always been $14.95 with FREE shipping as long as I can remember. All of the files ARE .PDF. Unfortunately, I cannot foot the bill for the storage and bandwidth of 600+ megs of information soooo.. I simply send a nice CD-ROM with the over 100 full color pictures, bike movies and complete plans along with other freeware goodies for both Macintosh and Windows users. I eagerly await your order Sir. Thank you for inquiring and have a nice day. -Dave

  • how fast does it top out at?

  • They cruise at 22-25 MPH just fine with a 28cc engine. A 32CC will hit 30 MPH regularly. I have had them up to 43 MPH downhill though. Depends on the bike weight and engine I suppose..

  • do you have plans for a chainsaw powered bike?

  • Hmm.. Nope. I imagine it would be a bit different though.

  • how much money does it cost for all the parts?

  • I have built these for as low as $10.

  • How can you build a Motorized Bicycle with only 10 dollars :O ?

In Norway a very simple bike cost like 200$ and that CHEAP and you have to pay 200$ for the weed Whacker too

  • Lets see. Place free ad at local stores bulletin board or Craigslist. Get free bikes like crazy. Enough to make the wife mad and take a truckload of them to the metal recyclers while keeping 10 of the "best" ones.. Same for weed whackers. I can be very picky about the bikes and engines I use as I have a bunch of them in storage. The plans have all the info.

  • does it have a brake system that doesnt burn the whacker motor out?

  • jesus christ she can move!!! was she hard 2 build??

  • I have it down to a few hours. I have plans on CD-ROM available too. Over 100 pictures, movies and complete how-to on CD. $9.99 with free shipping.

  • Tell that to the Harley riders! heh. It has the original factory muffler so maybe write a letter to Weed Wacker or Craftsman corp?

  • Sweet ride Diskmann, looks like a spindle/friction drive.

  • OMG THAT SO COOl

  • is it a friction or chaindrive, cant really tell from the vid

  • very nice

  • nice work im taking a pocket rocket motor 49cc and strapping it on a luggage rack, and then riggin a sprocket on a disc brake hub almost done waiting for a master link..

  • email me at diskman_1 at yahoo com for ordering information.

  • Neither. There is zero torque applied at the hub. I do have plans available if interested.
