  • Alot of Malicks influence in this commercial.

  • @ FunnyGuy656 -- several of those people, I know for a fact, live in Braddock. FYI.

  • What is the name of this song?

  • @michaeljess99 The prelude to the first act of Das Rheingold by Wagner

  • @michaeljess99 Das Rheingold, Prelude by Wagner.

  • no one in Braddock looks like the people in the commercial

  • The part about these Levi's commericals is the dog!! He is telling us all to "come on!" let's go!

The dog knows that we american must reinvent ourselves and take back our country from Wall street!

  • they cut out my favorite scene from George Washington.

  • * due

  • @tylerdegraaf Green copies off Malick as well, and has stated as much. There is nothing new under the sun anymore, unless it begins with Malick. Give props where they're do, brother.

  • That's two times you corporate A-holes have ripped off Malick with your Levi's ads! You're lucky he lives under a hole and doesn't watch TV, otherwise he'd probably sue you for ripping off New World and Thin Red Line.

  • I'm taking a shit in some Levi's for this: Wagner's Revenge!

  • In the 90's I proudly wore Levi's a Chuck Taylors because they were made in the USA. The quality has diminished while the price has gone up dramatically for a pair of Levi's jeans and a pair of chucks.

I no longer wear either product. I buy all my clothing made in the USA.

Globalization is a dumb idea unless you're a multi national corporation who can exploit the meek and poor.

  • How's about the workers take over Levi's, bring jobs back to America and carry out the 2nd Great American Revolution? GO FORTH

  • John: Give Terry your paycheck.

  • fuck this shit!

  • hey, what is the music playing in the background?

i recognize it, but I don't know who composed it.

  • @FilmsUndecided It's from Wagner's Das Rheinhold, the "Vorspiel." Used to wonderful effect in Malick's The New World

  • @oedipax "Rheingold" rather.

  • @oedipax

    Thanks!

  • fuck this shit

  • This is more than a homage to Malick, this is blatantly ripping the guy off. P.S. Wagner was a nazi.

  • @rogoffishal - Wagner died in the 1880's. There was no National Socialist German Workers Party during Wagner's lifetime. Anti-German bigot.

  • why don't they make every one black in this ad. That's what american jews want.

  • I'm sorry, but, this commercial makes me want to puke. Its earnestness and down-home grittiness smells like focus groups farts.

  • I love this commercial because of the music and the visuals--a clear homage to Terrence Malick, I'd say. It's beautiful. John Hillcoat (The Road) is a talented filmmaker. I almost ignore the fact it has anything to do with a company. lol

  • I absolutely love the Malick influence.

  • This ad give me a goosebump. Who's the director?

  • @atmawarin John Hillcoat, but he's copying Terrence Malick in this ad. If you haven't seen it, check out The New World and you'll see what I mean.

  • how about levis try bringing back manufacturing jobs to the usa

  • @MrLaguy99 LOL yes!

  • I'm sorry, but, this commercial makes me want to puke. Its earnestness and down-home grittiness smells like focus groups farts.
