@jmwnycprr i here ya on the star notes.on ebay they go for like $1 more than face,by the time you pay fees and ship it your in the hole.i had 2 $20 1950 notes and just traded face value for silver,and already made some money.im going to a gold and silver expo this weekend maybe someone will give me a couple extra bucks for all my star notes.

@18wheeler76 Cool. I got a nice 1973 $20 bill not too long ago I did keep it though. I like the look of the real old paper money like the wood chopper bills and the silver certificates. But what are they? Just a piece of paper thats all. Hell at least a zicolin has melt value. Silver is getting high which is good but I dont know if Im going to buy anymore. May just keep roll hunting and detecting for it.

@jmwnycprr i love the look of the old money,but like you said its just paper,so i traded in 2 $20's and a $10 for $50 worth of silver when it was $32 so thats decent,and im definatley going to keep searching for 50 cent silver by roll hunting,but im going to continue to buy also,even if its just dimes,ill by dimes until there 10ea then i may stop.

Nice score on the Craigslist Ad! In my area all silver coin ads are snatched up immediately, haven't had much luck.

@norxcontacts same here,i check the ads everyday here,and almost immediatly the silver is sold at spot anyway so not missin much of a deal.somethin was up with this guy,he was acting wierd.thats why i thought they were fake or something,but im going to weigh em tommorrow,everything else checks out same sound same feel and definatley nothing noticable looking at them closely.thats the best deal ive got in awhile besides the ones i get for 50 cents from the bank or rolls.
