Well a moderate muslim would be someone that doesn't want people to kill non-muslim, lapidation of women, sex with child etc...All the horrors commited in the name of Islam. Ramadan, is ok, modesty of women , 5 prayers is ok, nobody can say it's bad but violence is not.
