  • which company patents the placing of an elko ...... omg creativity whatz that companys like that make me sick because there the reason that we dont have free energy already

  • im wondering if it is posible to use the wheel on the back as generator to charge a capacitor that i can setup between batery and rest of the bike that could drasticaly increas the range

  • @thedataflo its been patented

  • I downed this video because of the title and it was short

  • electric-bike-kit (dot) come or (dot) cum just making sure its right because the link on desc is not working

  • It's really cool when you see what's inside...

  • Looks similar to the flying disc

  • thats cool you'll get a higher power to weight ratio but its gunna be noisy, maybe less efficient, and don't try to over power it much the coils are smaller.

  • Love to get my hands on one

  • great work... how many watts this motor is ... my motor is 250w and i am wondering how fast it could go... cuz i havent tested it yet... any ideas guys... ????

  • sorry but i would rater have a motor for yasa 37 cm x 7 cm 500 newton meter of torque

replace the two wheel of a bike and you got 1000 newton-meter of torque

around 800 pound feed of torque.hahaha!

  • Nice. I am thinking hard on which kit I get for my bike. I like the gear reduction to reduce motor speed among other benefts, however the largest drawback I'm finding with planetary drive hubs os that they can not use regenerative breaking (please correct me if i'm wrong) I think the regen breaking is an extremely nice feature to have and could really help out with distance. Cheers, IC.

  • @IcechickenSr The regen should work, I think, as long as the gear ratio is not too extreme, I'd say no more than 6:1. I am personally curious about that, too, and it would be good to know.

  • @IcechickenSr google staton inc.

Electric bikes are too expensive for what you get.

  • its from electric fan

  • oh you have the wheels you ride on spinning the alternator directly with planetary gears? thats a bit like the shimano hub gear & a bike dynamo combined i'd guess?

  • is this a magneto?

God willing, i want to make an electric bike, with some type of alternator/magneto setup to recharge the battery...

  • @Leiflton - are there places to buy a dynamo/planetary gear or hub gear combo for bicycles, motorcycles, & cars? tesla roadster wont respond to my questions about adding something like this to that electric car to keep power on the go!

  • @three0234 i dont think there are, but im not quite sure. we must be missing something, because i would think this idea would already be in production. maybe it is too hard to turn the alternator with a load on it? ive heard that before and it is demonstrated in some of the bike generator vids, but what if you built the alternator right into the bike spokes? the spokes would be the rotor, and you could have coils on the forks or something.

  • @Leiflton i think im going to get a cyclone 1200w kit and install it on my bike, then you could carry out experiments from there...you could attach a sprocket to the alternator and put it on the chain...you could have one of those friction ones being driven by the wheel, a hub one i dont think is a good idea because of the resistance, would slow you down even if you're coasting. you want to keep those bearings ROLLIN.
