Awesome kit i have the exact same, with the black suade emperor heads. i have the black X snare head and black suade powerstroke 3 bass skin too. sounds just like a DW for a fraction of the price. love this kit!

The tone of your drums is killer. I have suedes on mine and they are the Pacific cx kit too but very ringy so I use tone rings which look cheezy. Any other tricks to good sound?

The heads work really well for these drums. I have a CX kit myself and it's extremely hard to find heads that sound good on it.

Do the suede emperors really make your toms sound that great of course with proper tuning. (i play pdp drums so shells are similar)

@tameemz90 The suede emperors definitely give you a much fatter and DW-esque sound, if that's what you're looking for. They definitely sound much better to me than all the other heads i tried on this particular kit.

remo black suede emperors over stock resos. they work great on these drums :D
