  • i have a 2002 sebring with the 6 cylinder and 2.7L these cars are crazy fast for what they are

  • My friends 03 sebring just sludged up, sad to see a nice car go to a junkyard

  • More tha 6000 revs./min. with cold engine... only in a rented car....

  • @maximusovidio73

Guy this has already been explained, we've had this car for three years.

    Lol, not a rental.

It had been idling in the drive for at least 15 mins.

Every Sebring 2.7l I've ever driven has been like this, it takes forever for it to warm up...

  • Yeah, lol. This was back when I had my temps. And uh, that was my moms car. LOL

  • Hey man I have the same yea sebring with the same 2.7l

What brand air intake did you get/how easy was it to install, cause I've been looking to doing something like this to my chrysler. Thanks

  • It doesn't have a name. lol. It's the ebay special ones. It sounds good and looks better than the black plastic ever did. It's like 30 bucks and well worth it!!

  • how easy was installation? just snap on pretty self explanatory, or was it kind of tricky

  • Well, I think removing the stock air box was the worst part. I mean it can be tricky to wiggle out of there. But other than that, its simple. Don't forget the Vaccum Hose that goes to the plenum.

  • shoulda let it warm up first

  • yeah, it had been running for like 15 mins in the drive already. This car has the slowest warm-up I have ever seen. lol. It was "warm" just not to operating temp.

  • o ok, i've noticed that all chryslers take a while to warm up. takes our 300 and caravan at least 5 - 10 minutes before you even notice the temp needle start to slowly rise

  • its all good. Check my videos now. I have my strat doing a burnout. lol

  • @nrmntrs1

i got a 300M with the 3,5 L and i had the same problem ... it was the thermostat stuck open and air pockets in the coolant. I hope it helps. Try bleeding the system, it has a bleed valve somewhere.

  • Thanks. The bleeder valve on the 2.7l is right on top near the plenum. I took care of this at it's 80k mile service.

  • awesome, have the same car with the same infamous V6 in it.

  • This is a 2003 Chrysler Sebring Sedan LXi with the infamous 2.7l V6. All I Have done is a cold air intake. Any more questions, ill be happy to answer them

    Thanks

  • 'infamous' as in must change the engine oil and filter every 1,000 miles with full synthetic to prevent engine sludge; (exageration) lol. that V6 ?

  • Shit, what kind of sebring is this????????
