While i agree with the image of money being wasted on the CAP i think that part about the British rebate is rather unfair.
Britain is the second biggest net contributor to the European Union budget, only behind Germany.
Germanys net contribution in 2006 was 10 billion.
Britains net contribution in 2006 was 5.5 billion.
If we did not get our 5 billion rebate we would actually be paying MORE than Germany despite having a smaller economy and population.
