(Ridiculous, right?) Other news channels just interview those with parallel opinions to give the issue at hand a slant in their favor. This, however, is just stale attempts at humor.
It used to be funny back in the Clinton and early Bush days, now Obama and the Democrats are never touched. Plenty of liberal pundits whose insanity provides plenty of written material get off the hook while we hear "Glenn Beck/Rush Limbaugh/Republican politician is bad" again and again.
What about all of the healthcare bribes? Why every-time gay marriage is turned down they do a pro-gay marriage rant? They simply don't dare to offend their star-struck college liberal audience.
Well maybe they don't make fun of the current administration as much because they can't make anything funny while making fun of why it's wrong. They're hypocrites by defending the United States and the Constitution by going crazy about gun control and free speech, which they exercise daily, but try to keep rights, like marriage, from a certain group of people. They also call out Obama, of all people, accusing him of being racist, while they're clearly discriminatory against gay people. They're hypocrites. Not saying that Dems aren't hypocritical, I'm just saying that the GOP does it WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more often.
Marriage is open to everybody. Yet you can't just go and decide to change the definition of marriage. With that logic why have such an institution at all? Perhaps we should allow some of the benefits civil unions can provide. But we shouldn't go and redefine marriage for them.
Gay people aren't a race. I don't support hunting down gays or anything like that but we have the right to expect them to keep their sexual interests behind close doors. We simply don't want to hear about it.
I definitely don't understand how marriage is open to everybody, yet one would have to change the definition of marriage for gay people to get married. And all we're really talking about here is how the Bible defines marriage, and since the church and state are separate entities, i see no problem there. And I'm saying that they're being treated like a "race" who's fighting for civil liberties and rights, since they are being denied those rights as if they were a "race."

Marriage is open to everybody. Yet you can't just go and decide to change the definition of marriage. With that logic why have such an institution at all? Perhaps we should allow some of the benefits civil unions can provide. But we shouldn't go and redefine marriage for them.
Gay people aren't a race. I don't support hunting down gays or anything like that but we have the right to expect them to keep their sexual interests behind close doors. We simply don't want to hear about it.

And I'm saying that they're being treated like a "race" who's fighting for civil liberties and rights, since they are being denied those rights as if they were a "race."

This show is 1000 times better than The Daily Show or The Colbert Report.
The two hosts for The 1/2 Hour News Hour are also MUCH funnier, smarter, and more clever than either Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
