@emmabeart We don't have to, but some choose to blow dry it straight instead of using straightening irons. I personal just use straighteners to do mine, but it depends on preference really.

Also, she's damaging her hair even MORE by brushing it with a medium fine tooth comb while her hair is wet. Use a wide-tooth, when your hair is wet, it's more sensitive and prone to break easier and cause split ends.

i curl my hair with a ghd like this, i wash it, let it dry, blow dry a little if i need to, then add tresame (how ever you spell it) heat protectant all over my head, curl, then hair spray, simple... and it turns out the same, sometimes better then what this shows!

My hair never turns out looking that good using GHDs. It always always ends up a tangeled mess. And ALWAYS falls out. And I always end up screaming at the bloody things half way through. And my arms go to sleep.

Basically, there is no simple way to curl your own hair.

i find my curls with a straightner work best if when you reach the bottom of the hair after gliding it down like she did, to hold it tight and role it back up then hold it there for a few seconds and let it go bu swiviling it down, maybe ill make a quick video
