It may have protection from everything, but if someone uses a card that targets YOU, like something that causes it to be sacrificed, it's DEAD. The only flaw of cards that have protection from shit like that. XD
i dont use progenitus(dont get me wrong its a great card) but what i do is basicall find cheap ones online and sell them for like twice the price, either that or i trade for like 4 mythic rares @ a time. if u want another progenitus send me ur trade binder and ill take a look. right now i have 6 progenitus cards.

Lol well dude, I've actually had quite a good bit of personal messages from people asking me to do online trading with them. They even told me what cards they would offer to trade for it, but I turned them all down.
I do not think it's a god card because it's big and because it's a mythic. Yes the mana cost is to high, but if you know enough about magic as I do, then you would know that there are many ways to get him out for a much cheaper mana cost. Dramatic entrance, Maelstrom Archangel, Elvish Piper, those are just 3 way, but there are many others. You should really do some more homework before you assume I pay the whole mana cost for him, because I never have had too.
That's what I meant by "some really clever dudes at my shop can pull it out at turn 4 easy".
I'm aware that there are other ways to put Prog on the field other than hard-casting him, I'm just saying that those ways either fall short or are easily sideboarded against, which is why he doesn't see a lot of tournament play.
It IS fun to see him come out after a Warp World, though. The look on the other guy's face is priceless.

It's not a bad card. The way I've seen it played in tournies is via Polymorph of a token. Though it's hard to do because of all the removal added like Doom Blade and Lightning Bolt.
your southern lisp advertising Progenitus makes it cwazy. i use it in my WWR deck, and is funny to see the reactions of people's face's when i flip it off a warp world.
Whoever said that the deck I have it in relies just on Progenitus? Nobody ever said that, I have nasty ass nights in the deck with it as well and alot of nasty instants and other Creatures. I also have a foil Apocolypse Hydra in my deck =D, I don't just Rely on Progenitus.
Dude, you and so many people tell me good luck playing it. If you know magic well enough, then you would know that you do not need to pay all 10 mana to play him. I have quite a few ways and I will tell them to you.
1. Dramatic Entrace
2. Maelstrom Archangel

If you don't know what they do, then look them up. I find it funny when noobs think it's so hard to play it, when in fact it's so easy.
Reggie4magic, You forget Progenitus can't be pathed. Only Wrath effects work on it. plus Progenitus is very easy to bring out now also there are going to be new ways in 2010

Yeah, I just got that card too, its not so much rare as it is hard to play...so grats on opening a pack of cards, those things can be tricky to open sometimes.
Go to Magic the Gathering's website, go to the Gatherer, look up Progenitus, and click on "show rulings" at the bottom. Wrath of God will kill Progenitus. Sorry to say that.
Wrong, protection means it cant be targeted by a spell, but wrath of god does not target, it just destroys all creatures...thats why WOG is a good card, and Progenitus is just a big creature you will never get out in a game

Yea, I do have it in a pretty good 5 colored deck. I've gotten him out on turn 5 before =D, thanks to Dramatic Entrance. I actually drew it on turn 5 and had the mana to play it, and some.

Yea other good cards from Conflux are Nicol Bolas Plainswalker. His Abilities are so nasty, and Maelstrom Archangel, OHHH I want one soo badly. If I don't pull one from a Booster, I'll just buy them haha.
i know that the planeswalkers are good, but i dont completely understand how to use them. i know the numbers on the left tell you how many loyalty counters to add/remove, but when can you add more? at the beginning of your turn? and whats the number inthe bottom right? does that mean that the attack and defense are the same number? like if the number is 5 then its a 5/5 creature? im confizzled
Planeswalkers are not creatures so anthing that targets creatures like unmake or pacifism can't target planeswalkers but things that do target players like flame javelin and incerate do target planeswalkers and you remove X amount of loyalty counters from it. You can only use planeswalker abilities during your turn.

I'm aware that there are other ways to put Prog on the field other than hard-casting him, I'm just saying that those ways either fall short or are easily sideboarded against, which is why he doesn't see a lot of tournament play.
It IS fun to see him come out after a Warp World, though. The look on the other guy's face is priceless.

It's not a bad card. The way I've seen it played in tournies is via Polymorph of a token. Though it's hard to do because of all the removal added like Doom Blade and Lightning Bolt.

Whoever said that the deck I have it in relies just on Progenitus? Nobody ever said that, I have nasty ass nights in the deck with it as well and alot of nasty instants and other Creatures. I also have a foil Apocolypse Hydra in my deck =D, I don't just Rely on Progenitus.

Dude, you and so many people tell me good luck playing it. If you know magic well enough, then you would know that you do not need to pay all 10 mana to play him. I have quite a few ways and I will tell them to you.
1. Dramatic Entrace
2. Maelstrom Archangel
3. Elvish Piper,
If you don't know what they do, then look them up. I find it funny when noobs think it's so hard to play it, when in fact it's so easy.

Go to Magic the Gathering's website, go to the Gatherer, look up Progenitus, and click on "show rulings" at the bottom. Wrath of God will kill Progenitus. Sorry to say that.

Wrong, protection means it cant be targeted by a spell, but wrath of god does not target, it just destroys all creatures...thats why WOG is a good card, and Progenitus is just a big creature you will never get out in a game

i know that the planeswalkers are good, but i dont completely understand how to use them. i know the numbers on the left tell you how many loyalty counters to add/remove, but when can you add more? at the beginning of your turn? and whats the number inthe bottom right? does that mean that the attack and defense are the same number? like if the number is 5 then its a 5/5 creature? im confizzled

Planeswalkers are not creatures so anthing that targets creatures like unmake or pacifism can't target planeswalkers but things that do target players like flame javelin and incerate do target planeswalkers and you remove X amount of loyalty counters from it. You can only use planeswalker abilities during your turn.
