What happens is you are to learn a mapping of patterns to squares. Each tactile pattern you learn stands for one of the nine square positions. After each pattern you move to the corresponding square. Make sense?
It's a tactile password. A litle set of bumps raise up, like Braille, and when they fell right, then you've entered your password. This is a "password" scheme that makes it difficult/impossible for other people to shoulder-surf your password.
what a waste of time. Once again, tech people should not demo their own stuff.
