  • Of course this is impossible using what little knowledge there is available....what if everything had consciousness down to the quantum level and beyond? Wouldn't that explains all the dead ends in science? The answers are there but you won't discover them unless you realize your mind is capable and ready to think in a new way.

  • Your first assumtion is that chemical reactions are just by chance, they is not.

  • beuford77, u are clueless..no scientist supports the idea of spontaneous generation. spontaneous generation was falsified in the 1800's!!..the cell by no means developed spontaneously..it occurred very gradually.

  • You have no idea about probability. Chemicals do not react randomly. They have affinity. RNA has already been made in a lab using nothing but the simplest of naturally occuring chemicals and natural processes such and warming and cooling. Once you have RNA more the more complex chemistry of life follows naturally.

  • I want to know how you came up with these numbers.

    Sounds made up.

The chances of me making this post at this second on this day, with these same letters and grammar was 1 in 100 to the 600th power!

That means it's OVER 9000!! lol.

  • If the entire creation was made by God,than the world is finite, the species would not evolve, man would not evolve, and without evolution,we are dead.Life has no meaning. But if evolution is part of the creation,of the infinite cycle, than we are always evolving, coming closer to god,but never reaching it,because we reach it,where do we go from there? If you don't "move",you are dead, you are finite...peace to you all

  • What are you smoking?

  • :)) search Osho, the clip where he speaks about creation and evolution

  • Spontaneous generation: the idea that a complex animal, even a single celled organism, could form spontaneously from non-living matter.

Abiogenesis: the idea that simple life developed from simpler chemical reactions.

Which one sounds more realistic? Oh, and which one is actually hypothesised by modern biologists? I'll give you a clue, it's not the one that suggests that maggots spawn from raw meat and rats from unkempt barley...

  • Life did not start with a complete cell. It probably started as a molecule which, under the right conditions could reproduce itself. That is basically all you need really. That, and the ability to add small, random changes to it's structure which can then be selected. As for your probability stuff, your premise is wrong to begin with. We don't know what form the first life on earth had, so don't even start with your calculations of proteins and DNA.

  • You need DNA and you need it to self replicate itself. That alone is impossible. Where did this first molecule come from? What evidence do we have for this first molecule? Why is this taught as fact if we have no evidence? Why do I have to spend my tax dollars to teach our kids this silly unproven theory?

  • Quote from Zweefvlieg "Life did not start with a complete cell. It probably started as a molecule which, under the right conditions could reproduce itself. That is basically all you need really."

Life not starting out complete would is impossible. It would not be able to live.

"We don't know what form the first life on earth had, so don't even start with your calculations of proteins and DNA" If this is not known then why is it tought as fact?

  • Man, I commented here seven months ago...

Anyway, how would you define the line between life and non-life? Ever heard of prions? Or virusses?

"If this is not known then why is it tought as fact?"

What exactly do you think is taught as fact? The origin of life is one of the major scientific challenges of this time. If there ever comes an answer to this matter, SCIENCE will provide it. Not faith, just like EVERY major scientific question in the past has.

  • "Life did not start with a complete cell."

    - that is not science. this is an assumption in best case scenario a make-belief dream.

i liked the presentation beuford77. it's direct to the point and simple. will the atheists still find this hard to understand? yes, i think so. it's because God has blinded them.

  • If your god wants us to believe in him, why would he blind us? Doesn't seem very fair to me.

  • Hold on. Abiogenesis has not even had a workable model created yet. And its tough in schools that its a fact. Even if they do figure out a workable model for abiogenesis that wouldn't prove that it happened! It would only prove that it is possible. See the difference?

  • That's because life exists, so life has an origin; ergo abiogenesis HAD to happen in one way or another. Claiming that "god did it" effectively stops people from trying to find a real explanation. Again: only science has ever given us any useful insight in the workings of the universe. Religion: zilch. Why would the story be any different for abiogenesis?

  • Hello friend. I see that there is a logical fallacy being committed here. You are saying that it is science against religion. The Bible agrees with science. This is evolution verses creation. Also, the many of the great scientists of the past were creationists. Great thinkers such as Boyle, von Helmont, Kelvin, Pascal, Grimaldi, Hooke, Brewster, Dalton, Freshnel, Davy, Faraday, Duhem, Joule, Morelyto name a few. What scientific advancement has evolution given us?

  • yeah evolution is wrong dreadfully... many evidence revealed by them is almost always proven wrong......what gets me is that they still teach it as part of a science......i dont understand that......it probably is that the only alternative is creation for them..and well they dont look forward to doing that

  • I don't know. I believe God will reveal it one day. Maybe it's becuase He is omnipotent.

Here is a verse out of the many :

"Ye have NOT chosen me, but I have chosen you,(...)"

    John 15:16

  • hmm... or MAYBE, it is because God is make-belief, and Christians like you have to come up with far-fetched bible quotes to try to make any sense of the deeds of their omnipotent god... including the fact that throughout the world different people believe in different gods, or no god at all...

What about people that "chose" Allah? or Visjnoe? or Zeus, or the Great Tree Spirit?

  • quran is invented by muhamad. he copied most of his writtings from the old testament. the bible, on the otherhand, was written by dozen men of God who were diectly inspired by Him. it was written in a span of thousand of years, without contradiction, with many scientific facts only recently discovered, with full of prophecies, many fulfilled in the time of Jesus. this is not a mere coincidence. think about it.

  • Sooo... your holy book is holier then the other holy books. Strangely, I heard a Muslim claim the exact same thing... So hard to know which one of you is lying... or maybe there is a third option? I know enough.

PS: no contradictions in the Bible? ouch...

  • not holier, it is the ONLY holy book. the quran was written by ONE man containing many old testament passages. isn't that plagiarism?

of course if i was a hindu, a catholic, or zeus woshiper science may have convinced me there is no God. but thank God He had chosen me. that is why this video posted here is crystal clear to me:

    1) that life could NOT possibly happen by chance,

2)and therefore it could ONLY have been created

nope, there is no contradiction in the bible.

  • I thought so.

    Goodbye.

  • goodbye.

    May God bless you.

  • Hi brother. When someone gives the answer to a simple math equation do you get angry and say that just because its true to them it may not be true to others? There is such a thing as absolute truth. Either the Bible is the word of God or it's not. I also don't believe there are contradictions in the word. Do you have any contradictions you would like to talk about? One at a time please.

  • hey what about all the predictions made by the bible?????? thats a hell of a coincidence......go tell the muslims to make the quran do that...

  • Many different beliefs on who the creator is, does not mean that they are all wrong. There are many different theories on how evolution might have occurred. Does that make them all wrong?

  • no but there is logicall evidence against evolution as well which would make alot of it wrong......humans in this world will never be able to truly conprehend where we came from..........anyway before i die im gonna make sure to ask god for forgiveness and i hope he understands.......because evolutionists are the ones that could really lose if there is a god.....if evolution is true nothing is gonna punish us but if creation is right then evolutionists are in for a hell of a surprise.
