I have can never get anyone one to prove the rapture. I would love for there to be one so we Christians would be spared the horrible things that are going to happen. I figure we will be raptured before God starts to throw fire, brimstone and huge hail balls down to earth but I figure we might be around for whatever the antichrist does. I think only a true Christian would go hungry and on the run to avoid taking the mark or denying Jesus. I think we might have to go through that testing.

I never said I don't believe in a rapture...it is clearly a biblical teaching (Jn.14:1-3; 1Thes.4:16-17; Rev.19:7-9). However, to separate it from the 2nd Advent is erroneous.
To suggest that the rapture precedes the 2nd Advent of Christ by a period of 7 yrs. (the "pre-trib." view), is completely foreign to the Scriptures.

The rapture is found in Isaiah and 1 Thes. 4, and a couple other books. The Chapter about the 7 years is more accurately called the 70th Week of Daniel, and is in the Book of Daniel. It is also likely this fella is a 'Replacement Theologian', meaning he believes that Y'israel has been replaced int "God's Plan", with the Church, which simply isn't Biblical, but this would explain why he fails to understand how the Church isn't mentioned in Chapters 5 through 19 in Revelation.

There will be those caught up in the Rapture before the Tribulation, and the rest will be caught up after the Tribulation period. You never talked about the 144,000 that would be caught up or the dead in christ that would be caught up. The 144,000 that would be the bride of Christ, and the dead in Christ to be caught up. And if this is just an expression to illustrate the element of surprise, then why does he expand the parable in Matt 24:43? For whose benefit does the Bible mention Enoch's rapture? @heather77sey The tribulation is 3 1/2 years. It is true that we should not add to or take away from the bible. That includes adding the word rapture, adding a return before the tribulation when the bible does not teach it, adding the term or belief second coming, and all that has to do with the pre-trib teaching. One MAJOR ERROR amongst many christians is this, the idea that Jesus Chrsit is going to "Rapture the church. He is going to gather his elect, his chossen ones. The Gospel of LUKE tells us this... [34] I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. [35] Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."
He tries to use the word 'every' in Revelation 1:7, which is similar to 'all' as his evidence.. It is used as synecdoche(designating part instead of whole)..Luke 2:1 states a decree that 'all' the world should be taxed. So that meant the Roman empire, and I'm sure there weren't sailors coming over to America looking for people to tax. It is meaning part of the whole earth, just as it is in Rev 1:7 for 'every'...
Bottom Line: Dispensational futurists attempt to separate the "catching up" of the redeemed (the 'rapture'), from the 2nd Advent of Christ. However, there is NO separation of the rapture from the 2nd Advent intimated in any of the Scriptures. The 2nd Advent and the "rapture" are the SAME EVENT! 1Thes.4:16-17 is where the "catching up" (rapture) is mentioned. Amazingly, it is the 2nd Advent-- 1Thes.4:16 is one of the LOUDEST verses in all of Scripture.
It is my understanding, from a video posted by thirdeagles. that 99 percent of christians will not be raptured. that some will have to go though the entire 7 years of the tribulation. that our faith will be put to the test. do we fear man more than god.
Actually, there is no "defined alloted time of 7 years of tribulation" spoken of the Bible anywhere. Instead, this "7 years" is extracted from the "1 week" of Daniel 9:27. But this week is not to be chopped off from the first 69 weeks. All 70 weeks are one block of time. The last week was fulfilled from 27 A.D. to 34 A.D. In 27 A.D., Christ was baptized and anointed. In the midst of the week (31 A.D.) He was sacrificed, and at the END of the week, the Gospel went for to the Gentiles.
The truth to the matter is, we don't know how long the Tribulation lasts. Most Tribulations last only 3 1/2 yrs. If anything, 3 1/2 years makes the most sense. But when Christ comes the Second Time,.1. The righteous Dead and Living are "caught up" in the air, 2. The Wicked are destroyed by the Brightness of His Coming. -- This leaves NO HUMANS left on the planet for 1000 years. "The REST of the DEAD lived not again for 1000 years" Rev 20:5. The earth is desolate with Satan bound for 1000 yrs.
You are correct pastor Doug we will be save through tribulation and from it but when Jesus does come after tribulation we will be caught up in the clouds. After the Temple of Solomon is rebuilt and after the Son of perdition sits in the Temple and say he is God and after all the stars fall from heaven and after the sun and the moon is darkened then we will see Jesus coming in the clouds with power and great glory. You're missing the point. The Catholic Church hired a bunch of Cardinals to "make up doctrines" to offset the application of the Papacy being the Antichrist. At the Council of Trent in 1545, they convened, and they commissioned Roman Jesuits to formulate doctrines (that the Catholics did not believe in themselves), and started spreading them into Protestant circles to get the Protestants confused. Luis de Alacazar was another priest who created the theory of "Preterism".

I have can never get anyone one to prove the rapture. I would love for there to be one so we Christians would be spared the horrible things that are going to happen. I figure we will be raptured before God starts to throw fire, brimstone and huge hail balls down to earth but I figure we might be around for whatever the antichrist does. I think only a true Christian would go hungry and on the run to avoid taking the mark or denying Jesus. I think we might have to go through that testing.

I never said I don't believe in a rapture...it is clearly a biblical teaching (Jn.14:1-3; 1Thes.4:16-17; Rev.19:7-9). However, to separate it from the 2nd Advent is erroneous.
To suggest that the rapture precedes the 2nd Advent of Christ by a period of 7 yrs. (the "pre-trib." view), is completely foreign to the Scriptures.

The rapture is found in Isaiah and 1 Thes. 4, and a couple other books. The Chapter about the 7 years is more accurately called the 70th Week of Daniel, and is in the Book of Daniel. It is also likely this fella is a 'Replacement Theologian', meaning he believes that Y'israel has been replaced int "God's Plan", with the Church, which simply isn't Biblical, but this would explain why he fails to understand how the Church isn't mentioned in Chapters 5 through 19 in Revelation.

The 70 weeks of Daniel's prophecy (Dan.9:24-27) is a Messianic prophecy, and has absolutely nothing to do with Antichrist. There are plenty of texts which speak of Antichrist, but Dan.9:27 is NOT one of them.
The rapture is indeed a biblical concept. However, the Scriptures are clear that it is the same event as the 2nd Advent of Christ.

There will be those caught up in the Rapture before the Tribulation, and the rest will be caught up after the Tribulation period. You never talked about the 144,000 that would be caught up or the dead in christ that would be caught up. The 144,000 that would be the bride of Christ, and the dead in Christ to be caught up. Bits and pieces of the Bible do not make it true, read the whole subject, one will be caught up, and the other left standing.

Why did Paul tell us to "encourage each other" with the fact that we would be meeting the Lord in the air, if this happens after seven years of hell on earth and we would be quickly returned to the planet, where Jesus was scheduled to arive anyway?

When Lot was told to flee from Sodom was it BEFORE the wrath of God was poured out on the city, or AFTER it was poured out? Did God save Lot FROM the destruction of Sodom, or THROUGH it? Did Jesus tell us to pray that we would ESCAPE all that would happen during the tribulation, or ENDURE all that whas about to happen? (Luke 21:35-37)

If Jesus is coming like a thief in the night then what exactly is he coming to steal? And if this is just an expression to illustrate the element of surprise, then why does he expand the parable in Matt 24:43? For whose benefit does the Bible mention Enoch's rapture? If we are the salt of the earth then how can the earth be destroyed while the salt is still there to preserve it? With this in mind, what is the "restrainer" spoken of in 2 Thess 2:6-7?

Great video, I have one disagreement though. We will be here through tribulation, but not for the Wrath of God. The speaker states the last plagues in Revelation is the tribulation, it is in fact the wrath of God. Revelation 15:1, 16:1 Other than that, good information.

Is this guy reading the same bible as me? I'm not sure where he gets that it doesn't mention a 7 year tribulation.. it doesn't say literally '7' but it says in Daniel and Revelation 42 months and 1260 days..and a time time and half a time, both reffering to 3 1/2 years. Says in the bible to not add or take away from the book. If you all have questions, read your bible and find out answers in different places. This guy has NO IDEA what he is talking about. It is pre-trib.

@heather77sey The tribulation is 3 1/2 years. It is true that we should not add to or take away from the bible. That includes adding the word rapture, adding a return before the tribulation when the bible does not teach it, adding the term or belief second coming, and all that has to do with the pre-trib teaching. To understand how the tribulation will be 3 1/2 years see my video "How long is the tribulation", a short video with scriptural references, no guestimates.

@raptureornot i think not my friend. The words 'caught up' are used many times in the bible, along with many other words that refer to the same thing as the 'rapture'. The 'Trinity' is not spoken of in the bible either but do you believe that exists? It's not adding or taking away when it comes strait from the word of the Lord. Ok both the book of daniel and also Revelation are speaking of prophecy, in the Bible one prophetic day equals one literal year. So Daniel and Revelations are not speaking of 1260 days but 1260 years that Rome/Catholic Church was in power in Europe. Just like there is no literal beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. It has a deeper meaning that needs to understood.

It prophecy one prophetic day equals one literal year. So 1260 days is translated to 1260 YEARS it is speaking of the time that Rome/Catholic church ruled Europe. A beast means a country or region. It's speaking from 538 ad to 1798 or Rome's great power

He tries to use the word 'every' in Revelation 1:7, which is similar to 'all' as his evidence.. It is used as synecdoche(designating part instead of whole)..Luke 2:1 states a decree that 'all' the world should be taxed. So that meant the Roman empire, and I'm sure there weren't sailors coming over to America looking for people to tax. It is meaning part of the whole earth, just as it is in Rev 1:7 for 'every'...

It is my understanding, from a video posted by thirdeagles. that 99 percent of christians will not be raptured. that some will have to go though the entire 7 years of the tribulation. that our faith will be put to the test. do we fear man more than god.

Actually, there is no "defined alloted time of 7 years of tribulation" spoken of the Bible anywhere. Instead, this "7 years" is extracted from the "1 week" of Daniel 9:27. But this week is not to be chopped off from the first 69 weeks. All 70 weeks are one block of time. The last week was fulfilled from 27 A.D. to 34 A.D. In 27 A.D., Christ was baptized and anointed. In the midst of the week (31 A.D.) He was sacrificed, and at the END of the week, the Gospel went for to the Gentiles.

The truth to the matter is, we don't know how long the Tribulation lasts. Most Tribulations last only 3 1/2 yrs. If anything, 3 1/2 years makes the most sense. But when Christ comes the Second Time,.1. The righteous Dead and Living are "caught up" in the air, 2. The Wicked are destroyed by the Brightness of His Coming. -- This leaves NO HUMANS left on the planet for 1000 years. "The REST of the DEAD lived not again for 1000 years" Rev 20:5. The earth is desolate with Satan bound for 1000 yrs.

You are correct pastor Doug we will be save through tribulation and from it but when Jesus does come after tribulation we will be caught up in the clouds. After the Temple of Solomon is rebuilt and after the Son of perdition sits in the Temple and say he is God and after all the stars fall from heaven and after the sun and the moon is darkened then we will see Jesus coming in the clouds with power and great glory. He said the 2nd coming is when God comes in the air and we get caught up. I always thought that the 2nd coming is when God comes to Earth. Pastor Doug said when he comes in the air there is when the big earthquake happened, I thought it was when he comes to earth and his feet hit the Mount of Oloves.

It was the Roman Jesuit Francisco Ribera who put the 3 1/2 years at the end of the world, his doctrine of Futurism is waht the Protestants picked up on, and they ADDED another "3 1/2" years to it, making it 7. You're missing the point. The Catholic Church hired a bunch of Cardinals to "make up doctrines" to offset the application of the Papacy being the Antichrist. At the Council of Trent in 1545, they convened, and they commissioned Roman Jesuits to formulate doctrines (that the Catholics did not believe in themselves), and started spreading them into Protestant circles to get the Protestants confused. Luis de Alacazar was another priest who created the theory of "Preterism".

It does say in Matt chapter 24:29 30Immediately After the Tribluation the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give light and will apear the sighn of the son of man in heaven and the people of te earth will mourn. The 7 years tribulation is not mentioned in the Bible anywhere. However. false teachers DERIVE a mysterious "7 years of tribulation" out of the "one week" in Daniel 9:27. But this is speaking of the week from A.D. 27 to A.D. 34, which Christ was crucified smack in-between the one week, in A.D. 31.

Noah, Lot and "furnace Trio" we're all born BEFORE the day of Pentecost. As soon as the day of Pentecost happened, the body of the Church started, which is a COMPLETE seperate entity from ANY OTHER PEOPLE throughout bible history. We are saved, thanks to Jesus Christ, and do NOT have to go through the Tribulation. We endure enough already.
