good style. i am going a long way out with this tune. Gonna try a bluegrass style with it. got to put a high tenor on it to give it some power, like u did. these haters are just jealous, and narrow minded.
not as bad as i thought alittle ruff but great. would love to have a few drinks and sing along with you.you are almost a min to fast on a 4 min song.slow down dont forget your jelly roll soul
skynyrd manhattans hendrix and metallica in one... go Devils... kick some more.... im bruised n am im bluesd... I'm a metalhead hot melted with this song nice one.... my steel heart is smoking red... keep up the good work guys... nice soulfull and creative...
don't stop to be metal - this is one of the best version of this song just because it's known as a soul song and then has been sung in a rockin' way; soft song in hard version - the contrast is excellent
I was a Metal fan in the early eighties (Saxon, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, etc) But I was also into Ska/Reggae, Rockabilly and Motown.. No doubt influences have crept into my "sound" and coloured it, and so far I've had lots of encouragement, but you can't please everyone..
edpjunior: The "Black man" in question is Leroy Cromwell. Hate to burst your bubble albermarle52 but he was not an original member of the Manhattans, he IS however a fabulous Bassist a very cool guy. But if you want to create some Blue Devil's Mythology . go right ahead.. We love the attention.. Thanks for the comments fellas.
Wondering if you are still performing. You are good!

@scidamenge Thanks, and yes we are still performing. My video camera finally died so it's been a while since we've made any videos.

@capone609 I sort of agree but this is a wonderful mix of metal and soul, doesn't happen often but this works for me :-)
