It's a compensated barrel... one piece build. On 1911, the barrels move back closer to the mag right before feeding the next round on the the feed ramp.
@YayOrNay It is. The compensator is attached to the barrel, which moves back slightly with the slide before disengaging to allow the slide to travel the rest of the way back.
it does move, it is fixed to the end of the barrel, which slides back and downward just as in glocks. if you look at some pistols with the slide locked back, you will see some barrels canted upward
@YayOrNay Yes, 95% of pistols have browning lock barrels, when the gun is fired, the barrel unlocks, the slide travels back, then it travels foreward, and that movement you see is the barrel locking back.
Compensators can let you fire that fast. I'd just hate to be on the other end. Get off 10 shots off on some guys, reload, then get another 10 off in about 5 seconds.
Your a d...head making a comment like that moron. What are you saying...you dont want that any more & would rather own a revolver...again your a F.....G MORON

Is it me or does the compensator look like its moving back and forth? You can notice this on some shots when the slide returns to basic position.

@YayOrNay It's a 1911 based construction, so yes, the barrel recoils. The compensator is attached to the barrel, so...

It's more like questioning if the bans on full auto weapons make any sense... Not a call to restrict semiautomatics.
