  • this guy is HOT!!!!!!

  • Hey, I want to try a razor haircut (i have medium-long hair), but I have heard that after a month or two the tips of my hair will get frayed and brittle. Is that true? Thank you!

  • how is he so good with hair, yet he is missing it from his head?

  • @2583060 how are u typing when you're missing a brain up top?

  • @2583060 ur funny... NOT! :D

  • @NecatorNimrod o rly?

  • Thank you so much for this video! I ordered & used it myself using your video as my guide. The back was hard but I muddled thru it the best I could, not that it a mattered, the cut is very forgiving. I will admit to using the razor as the comb on accident...whoops, but I think my hair looks great! Just what I was looking for. For some reason stylists don't want to cut in the layers that I wanted in my long long hair...so now I DYI. I love my Carving Comb!

  • @Obsidian27921 nope.avi. I must have a brain then... haha I WIN.

  • Fantastic video. Can't wait to try this one!

  • are you left handed?

  • could he just stop talking

  • He's stroking ;)

  • Hi Jason. Lovely cut.. You are an awesome instructor. Thanks for explaining so clearly.

  • Don'r waste your money at their Schools ...had a 2nd year student with just 1 week til graduation totally ruin my hair with color ...looks like a checked board ...School has no integrity ...made me pay for it ...told me to come back the next day where I would have to PAY to fix it. No integrity!!!!

  • im about to graduate from one of their schools and you need to keep in mind they are still a student you dont know everything when you graduate just like college Also everything we do we get input from the client so you mustve lead them in the direction your hair ended up, there are teachers there to prevent accidnets on the hair. Dont down the school because you had a bad experience, it is a school and if you cant handle the learning environment dont go to a school to get your hair done

  • @houndjog i always think. why people go to a school to get their hair done and then complaint about the results. they are students not professionals .

  • I took a cutting class from you and you did this cut on me!! Amazing and a staple for me now! Thanks for the education

  • the comb razors don't create blunt cut do it ? and do your hair have to necessarily be wet to razor it because i want to layer my hair into like a shag look and i am doing it myself:)

  • hahaa, a bald guy doing hair, i donnnt see myself letting this happen.

  • @Kelseysmilesbig So, because he's bald, he's not capable of being a hair stylist? That's just ignorant.

  • @nachoman1314 Hairstylists are not allowed to be bald. You either get a hair transplant or you wear a hat.If you do hair your own hair has to look nice and thats a major rule no ifs ands or buts.Sorry no PC bullshit in hair world.

  • Nice beard!!!!

  • hi i cando this cu with scissors?

  • hi i acn do this cu with scissors?

  • absolutley amazing.... havent done hair in a while and kinda nervous to start up again... but this is totally help fulll... thanks so much

  • Love this technique!!!! My clients love it too!!! :)

  • I absolutely LOVE his technique! I do A LOT of long layers for my clients and I think they'll love this new way of cutting!

  • This is amazing! I can't wait to start my hairdressing career!

  • so essentially you're doing a razor cut with wayyyy to many sections. compelling

  • Can we thus make the hair stage?

  • nice

  • i wonder how much it'd cost fer him tew do muh hair 0.0.

  • why does her hair look so frizzy?

  • Where can a buy this comb on the internet?

  • Very simple and straight to to point using the tool well...great video! :)

  • I never thought about that before: pulling it from the side and cutting it creates length. Whenever I get my hair cut and they do that, I always have a thought of, "Oh no, it's going to be too short." But that makes sense.

  • Very informative. Where can I purchase the razor?

  • Jason! I met him at Caper '11.

Him and Donald are great! <3

  • Where can I buy this comb? I want it! It looks so good! D:

  • lololol Paul Mitchell always reminds me of the movie ''Don't Mess With The Zohan'' :D:D

  • are razor cuts only suitable for thick hair? i have thin straight hair, and i was wondering if i could still get this cut.. and is it true that razor cuts are damaging, producing split ends, etc?

  • @cocoPABL0 I would not recommend a razor cut. They tend to take a lot of bulk out the of hair. Also, most of the time the layers run vertically, reducing weight in the hair. If you cut your layers horizontally, you add weight, making it appear thicker. They do not damage the hair if done correctly, and should not be used on curly hair. Hope this helped!

  • @xxstarkiee i'm sorry sir but i hate to disagree with you. razor cuts can be done with all kinds of oh hair and dont necessarily taper the hair. with proper techinqie it can be done on all hair types

  • @cocoPABL0 razor cuts are more suitable for thick hair because they taper the hair and so thin it. Razor cuts require more attention as split ends would occur at different lengths. Make sure to condition hair properly and use leave in conditioner

  • @cocoPABL0 i have naturally thick wavy hair and i ONLY get razor cuts, i love the way my hair looks when it's done . I don't think it's a good idea for thin hair though because a razor will automatically thin your hair out even more, you would lose more hair than you would want to.

  • @cocoPABL0 Razor cuts are for any hair style. I do razor cuts on all kinds of hair types and as long as it is done correctly and using the proper technique you can also have a wonderful razor cut. if done correctly a razor cut can be as precise as a shear(scissor) cut.

  • i have such long hair, and i wanted to keep the length but jazz it up, thanks for this tutorial! where can you get this comb at? i think i can do this by myself, I'm not a professional, but hair is my passion. Thanks soo much for this tut! Now I can keep my length ^_^

  • awesome vid and you explain everything well ;).

  • wow i've never seen sectioning like that at a class. even if someone doesnt do that before cuttinng thats a wonderful visualization tool. love this smooth layer technique. what do you think it would look like on medium to short length hair?

  • Wow its beautful!

  • :O I love this loooooook!! I'll tell the girl that cuts my hair to get one of those so she can cut my hair like that :) <3 it!

  • how much is that?? i was thinking about cutting hair but i want to learn as much as i can from the internet before i make a comitment...

    so i subbed :D <333

  • @PurpleGiraffe99

Take it from a professional stylist, you NEED cosmetology school to learn the basics before you can fully grasp more technical designs. You need to learn to walk before you can run ;)

  • @slmorse89 i know i need schooling to be a stylist.... i just dont know if i want to be one yet. :o when did you know thats what you wanted to do??

  • @PurpleGiraffe99 At first I just wanted to own a few salons. After I talked to a few stylists I knew, they complained about their boss's not knowing anything about hair, they just run the place. So I figured I'd go to school, learn the ins and outs, plus I love doing hair anyways, so whats a few new techniques? Turns out I have a natural eye and I graduated from Aveda St Petersburg, FL at the top of my class.

For everyone its different, but if you're passionate about hair, go for it!

  • @slmorse89 i dont know if i can do though... lol i can barely do my own hair...

  • @slmorse89 My thoughts exactly! I've been doing hair for 20 years and I STILL love it! Everyone has something that they're good at, sometimes the hard part is finding out what that is! :o)

  • @slmorse89 thanx for the advice on that, im 17 years old and hair is my passion but in the world these days ppl think getting your masters in something (basically for status) is the key to wealth. Some ppl in my family arent as supportive on my decision of doing hair but all i can do is say that they dont experience the joy that i have just by touching hair. and they may never feel that great feeling. I have chosen to be self motivated.

  • How do I explain this to my hair dresser?! I want this done to my hair!!

  • great work

  • where to buy this comb from?

  • my mom did this to my hair I love it!!!!:D
