I think you misunderstood. What I said is that it's real-time, as in real-time in-game engine graphics, not CGI cut-scenes (which is what Square Enix is usually known for).

I would love to see it when there are enemys, objects ect...if you look up 'PS1 T-Rex demo' you can see graphics that were never seen on the PS1 in an actual commercial game. So im a little skeptical about this until they start adding something to this rather bland corridor :)

@Johfunu Not only that but lets see some trees and foliage. All this is is technically minimal polygons, all straight lines, no living things at all. Great lighting and shading though.

I love the PS2 version and I'm just stating that for me, I would be mad if they changed the best things about the game. I'd love it in HD but graphics isn't nearly enough. But you are right, I won't buy it if I think they have made it worse.

these engine is more for next gen consoles but will be using some "parts" for final fantasy versus for the ps3 only.dont expect this beast to run on the 360 and their dvd's lol

That's exactly why I uploaded it to YouTube, since a lot of people seem to have issues viewing the original video. Still, I would recommend checking out the original video, since it's higher-quality and 60 fps. Try running it on a different browser, and if that doesn't work, then try updating the plugin as well. If all else fails, just download the video file and run it from your computer.

It's still a work in progress, but what you just saw was a place that is entirely rendered and not-real, though it is based on a real place. Stunning, huh?
