The claim that "Paul McCartney be the writer of the song" is plain WRONG! Because, the middle part beginning with "I Love You, I Love You..." is from Jonh Lennon. It's a known fact that some of the most popular Beatles songs (such as "We Can Work It Out") which are thought to be written solely by Paul McCartney are in fact co-written by Lennon&McCartney.
