Pure awesomeness. I really like how you can hear the drums in the back respond to the bass in the "Bismillah! - We will not let you go" part. Thx alot for sharing this^^
@rogertayloRRR In the recording there was three bass tracks. 2 mics and a DI. The two mics were panned left and right with the DI centered for that extra "oomph". The "smacking" you are hearing is the drums spilling into the mics of on the bass amp. Roger Taylor hit symbols.
There are three takes of the song ( as said on the "Making Of A Night At The Opera" DVD, ( I also heard the different takes from the 24 tracks master tape), 1: Soundborad sound, Room Sound and Microphoned Bass amp sound. The tone depends on how you do the final mix. This was not the real sound that was achieved on the final mix.
Anything too powerful and bassy would have ruined the song in my opinion, especially in the delicate intro where the bass comes in with Freddie's piano starting with the "Mama just killed a man..." line

Now speaking as a bassist... there could ahve been a little more action going on with the bass.

@XMDinx There could have, but it would have sounded like shit.
Less is more in a lot of cases.

Dude I must say, Now we can hear the bass clearly, theta are two options... Or the video quality is awful or the bass is crapily recorded

Hi. How did you get that? Many people have done that (uploading videos of isolated bass tracks) Is there a way to isolate sounds like that?

@Gabichami6428
search google for "bohemian rhapsody multitrack" and it should be there some where, that's how I got it.
