I hate the fact that I need to find this so called WEP Key shit just to get my DS (Gen. 4 games of Pokemon to go online), ~ Where as when Nintendo sold the Wireless adapter thing for the DS and Wii to go online, it was easy.

Im glade that they made the Gen.5 games, the way they are, and its easy to go online (just get the Internet on the DSi to work and you will be able to go online.

I have no clue how the DSLite works (mine broke).

I wish it was really easy to find the WEP Key.

(Only if you're on the wireless network)

For Windows Vista/7 click on the Network icon (on the right side of the taskbar) and right click on the network you want to find the WEP key for. Then choose Properties and go to the Security tab. There should be a field that says Network security key and the key would most likely be in a ********** form. Check the box under it that says "Show Characters". Hope this helped.

Remember, you need to have used that network before.

For all of you all you have to do is press 192.168.1.1 in web search and the user is admin and pass is password then look on the left side for wireless settings or adapter. then scroll down and there should be 4 keys the one that is highlighted is yours, it's that simple

There was an easier way, you could have just manually assigned a key, therefore you choose the key. This doesnt actually show the settings for the network because you hit "create a new network"

Dude you didn't "find" your WEP key. you just created a new one. The one you were trying to "find" has been overwritten by the one you just created and now all the wireless devices you had connected using the that WEP key will no longer work.
