  • When did they stop wearing shirts?!

  • if a big band released this song, it would be critacally acclaimed and huge

  • Traverses strange technical challenges easily .Striking and hypnotic lead singer ditto the guitar accompaniment and percussion effects

  • My favourite song :') means alot to me<3 i love simon neil<3

  • This is their magnum opus! I doubt they'll ever write a better song than this

  • I missed the Hull gig because I had to travel 80 miles but the snow made it impossible and I could have cried I wanna see them again hope they tour 2011

  • I saw them live in manchester in december, they played this, i actually cried it was so beautiful

  • The guys played this beauty (and Diary of Always) when I saw them for the third time at Manchester Central, 3rd December.

One of the best songs I have ever heard. It goes through every phase that is needed to make an absolute epic...Words can't describe how good this song is. Vertigo of Bliss is pretty much the best album since Fleetwood Mac - Rumours...How the hell I hadn't heard of them before Puzzle is not only crazy, but means I didn't see them before they were doing 2000+ capacity venues.

  • @shutsy93 that's the gig I couldn't get to cause of the snow, so sad cause they played a brilliant set :(

  • @joshrussell92 Gutted for you Josh mate. However, the crowd was dire - little teenage girls turning up for MOH and Mountains (not that I don't like these songs...Believe me, I do) and they just chatted all the way through songs like ATWD and Diary of Always. Which was also beautiful...

  • When we collide...

  • saw them last night! was so happy when they played this song made the night :D

  • saw them last night! was so happy when they played this song :D

  • This dicks on All the way down chapter 2

  • is the singer biffy clyro?

  • @DiggenCack The singer is Simon Neil. The band is Biffy Clyro.

  • My brother got me into Biffy when Blackened Sky was released, think I was like 10 or something so I didn't exactly get the chance to see all the amazing gigs. Only seen them twice now and it's been all modern stuff :( still very good shows though.

  • Its a shame that I didn't start listening to Biffy until just before Puzzle. It would have been amazing to see them play songs like this in tiny tiny venues

  • When are they playing Canada?

  • my fave biffy song , and i reckon there best album is blackened sky then vob

  • Amen too that dude !!

  • Amen too that dude!!!

  • I was a latecomer to Biffy, my first album being Puzzle, and I loved it, still do, but after going back and getting Blackened Sky, VOB and Infinity Land, I love them, especially VOB. I'm not going to see them on this tour, but if I was, I'd feel almost cheated if they didn't do anything before Puzzle.

  • doubt they will, but REALLY want them to play this when i see them November 7th. I would actually ovulate.

    and i'm a guy.

  • Same... although i'd just be really happy..

My concern is that when "classic" songs are mentioned with biffy and anything they have done on radio and TV its not been anything before Puzzle... which is a shame.

The first three albums gave them Loyal and true fans who they seem to be shunning at the moment.. :(

  • @JOSHMAKESFILMS I am having similar feelings about seeing them at Reading in a few weeks. I think I would lay an egg.

    and i'm a human.

  • MON THE BIFFY!

The Vertigo of Bliss is the best album ever released.

  • totally agree with you on that one

  • the most beautiful song ever.

    gives me shivers. (L)

  • Biffy are my favourite band ever, I just cannot get tired of their music. I've heard this song over 100 times and it keeps getting better. Scotland produce some amazing bands like BIffy and Frightened Rabbit; my 2nd favourite group of lads. Mon tha BIff!

  • yeah biffy are my favourite band and frightened rabbit are amazing.

  • the other day i was watching Kerrangs 50 most rocking bands.. biffy were 49... with Bull shit bands in front of them like simple plan at 32 n shit, made me fucking sick.

Just goes to show just how under rated they are even though people talk about how old out they are.

  • kerang is shite, there dare to put shake it - metro station and other POP WANKSTAIN

  • Very True.

  • Fav song on earth. mon the Biffy

  • biffy clyro = the best band ever to live.

love this song so much :)

    x

  • amen to that (Y)

  • Its very unfortunate how biffys lyrics are so underrated. You hear about pete doherty being a songwriter - si's songwriting is 10xs better and almost always sidelined...

  • couldnt agree more.

biffy's lyrics are fantastic and they deserve way more recognition than they get

  • definitely, the most amazing lyrical piece ive heard from any band is convex concave by biffy, and this song also has incredibly moving lyrics.

    amazing band.

  • @leedsledzepdude Totally agree, I just think that in our world there are too many retards who don't even undrestand the lyrics and who like much better to listen to Lady Gaga or something, because they just cant understand more 'complicated' lyrics written from the HEART .. MON THE BIFF!

Greetz to all you rockers out there x

  • no wrong clapping? ;)

great song hopefully the'll play it when i see them live this month

    can't wait

  • i love this song so much !!!!!! i am going to see them in about 1 month, i hope they play this one.

man i am so happy to see them on one of their last concerts on this tour.

  • I adore this song-not 100% sure what the lyrics actually mean when they were written but they mean something specific to mean and I always have a tear in my eye. Mon d Biff

  • Man I love this song so much... It's got such a special vibe...

    Mon the fucking Biffy!

  • pwn this song is amazing.

i wish i was at this concert!!!!

joy discovery invention, jaggy snake, kids from kibble, all the way down!!!

  • can't wait to see them for my fifth time a week on friday, it's guna be awesome.

    mon the bif.

  • lucky bastard

  • wierd, when i bought vertigo of bliss, i walked home with it in my cd walkman (lol) and remember thinking, "fuck this album is not what i expected i dont like it", about 2 weeks later i listened to it again, and since its been round about ym favourite album, up there with jeff buckley n shit

  • Had The Vertigo Of Bliss album for about 2 days, and I have to say this, and Toys, Toys, Toys, Choke, Toys, Toys, Toys are the tracks that have really stood out so far!

  • Oh my you are a lucky man. I remember when I first bought vertigo. I was so hard to take it out of my cd player. Amazing album.

  • The end of this somg is epic!

  • the whole song is epic :D

  • I have seen them 13 times now and have loved every gig...theres always amazin but I do miss the early gigs when they toured with the Vertigo of Bliss (there best LP so far) album the passion and guitar playing from Simon was very special...the newer stuff isn't as complex playing wise, still sounds fcking good thou

  • u r so bloody lucky

everytime they are touring near me

    i either have no money

or when i do get the money

    its sold out

but i have the fest gigs still

i wnt to c them again

    soooo blooody bad!

    x

  • saw them at reading this year .... i shed a tear they were so intense

  • Mon the fucking biffy forever.

  • I love Biffy clyro so much.

I remember seeing them on the Blackend sky tour when no-one had never heard of them and then one day is saw this guy with a t shirt on and I just yelled MON THE BIFFY at him. good times from a great band

  • I only just got The Vertigo Of Bliss yesterday, and I think this song is fantastic. I'm glad that they became popular, because if it wasn't for Semi-Mental and Saturday Superhouse, I wouldn't have gotten into them, and now I have all their albums. I think Mountains is pretty encouraging too. =]

  • I love this song so much. And the album it's off...Oh and i love allll the rest of ther stuff.

And there new sigle owns. This band just gets better.

Mon the biffy forever man. <3

  • i can play this song and everytime i do it jst reminds me how good these guys are

  • Would you mind telling me what you play? I've worked out bits but I think they're wrong.

  • Mon The Biff Best Band Ever THEY ARE THE FUTURE! :)

  • Best Biffy Clyro song!

  • I'm just getting into them, man it's so exciting. What a fucking phenomenal band, I now understand the fanaticism you guys have (and soon I'll be one of you :)

  • one of the best songs off of the best album.

  • Tune!

  • mon the biffy best band ever

  • Mon the Biffy!!!

I have 3 biffy tattoos and i dont brag about them, because i love biffy. been to many gigs and hardly any folk sing along but thats what happens sometimes!!!!

if u love biffy then ayeee MON THE BIFFY!!!!

    BEST BAND EVER MADE!!!

  • i have friends (ex-friends) come up to me and say have you heard the new band biffy something........i really feel like punching there lights out..... this is clearly one of there best songs and know ones sing...makes me physically sick! fucking fairweather fan!

    mon the biffy

  • Oh, get over yourself.

  • Go on Stu! Seriously like haha

  • @Stu5727 well said!

  • at least they like biffy thats all that counts

  • That is actually really sad to dump your friends because they've only recently heard of Biffy. Get a life.

    Biffy rule!

  • why didn't you introduce them to biffy?

  • @afcblandi ALL of you suck with your "MON THE BIFFY"

  • @afcblandi i hate people like you... ive been a biffy fan since the second album came out and for some reason you have to hate the new fans. get a grip you moron

  • @DirtyDozer Yeah thats totally fair. 2 years ago i was a total dick. Still love them. I'm still not a fan of there newer stuff but hey, there fucking huge so its obvious there doing something right. And yeah, sorry for that fucktard comment. Utter cuntery on my part.

  • @afcblandi tru dat - up the Ayrshire massive!

  • @afcblandi You should be happy more people are listening to them you fucking idiot

  • @afcblandi No, The Captain is their best song. Now, you wanna kill me. Haha just kidding, personally I don't think that's their best song, I think Vertigo Of Bliss got all their best songs.

  • What are on about!! i was at the front singing my heart and so were a lot of other people! so dont think ur all big and the only one who song cos u wernt!

  • One of there best songs! They played this in southampton 2 or so months back i was the only person singing along uncultured f..kers!

  • What are on about!! i was at the front singing my heart and so were a lot of other people! so dont think ur all big and the only one who song cos u wernt!

  • The Vertigo Of Bliss is their Masterpiece =)

  • No way - Infinity Land is their best

  • they do still play it live though so thats cool :D

  • They played this at the Barrowlands in Glasgow a coupla months ago. Bliss

  • lol david

  • By far my favourite Biffy song. God I hope they dont make another album as poppy as Puzzle...but chances are they will :(

Seeing this live is on my list of things to do before i die too

  • thats where local bands come in handy.its great seeing biffy finally getting what they deserver,it would be a crying shame f their music wasnt made worldwide, its deprivation of the masses!

  • same here

i like avin bands like biffy where there are only a tiny group of ppl hu ave listened to them since blackened sky:)

  • I was at this gig, not as good as the early small shows but an amazing show anyway..only wish they could remain unknown for a couple more years, selfish bastard I am. Mon the biffy!

  • u should be happy that they've hit the mainstream though! yea i bet ur proud of been a fan all the way through but they've been going so long they deserve everything they r getting

  • why would u want them 2 remain unknown? people like u are just so pointless! just because u hear a band be4 sum1 else does! its pathetic!

  • The same thing happened to me with Muse. I was gutted when they hit the big time. Goodbye small venues, goodbye easily getting tickets, hello fucking newbies who show up knowing 2 songs!

Have u noticed how half the crowd at Biify gigs now go silent when anything off the 1st 3 records is played?

  • Saw them in southampton 2nite this song best part of the evening!!! Was there ever a All The Way Down (Chapter 2)? an does any1 no where 2 find it????? Mon the biffy!!!

  • Yes, there are 2 versions of All The Way Down, Chapter 2, with slightly different music and very different lyrics. You'll find one on Biffy's first single, iname, although there were only ever a few hundred copies pressed. The other version, which I and many other fans regard as way better, you'll find on the 7" vinyl version of the Joy.Discovery.Invention/Toys, Toys, Toys, Choke, Toys, Toys, Toys double-A-side single. Which is almost as rare as iname. Good luck... :)

  • @Stu5727 hi guys i know i shudnt really promote this kinda stuff when its biffy but i couldnt find chapter 2 anywhere so i just typed all the way down biffy onto limewire search and found chapter 2. So hopefully that helps.

Just seen them live for first time and i was blown away.

  • i'll sell it to you for 50quid ;)

  • love the song, love the band, wish i could see them live one day

  • Biffy rock!!! always have an still do. all the way down, whole child, conversation is who cares Mon the fucking Biffy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If it wasn't for songs like a whole child, conversation ect, a lot of people would never have heard of biffy, and therefore would never hear amazing songs like this!! Mon the biffy!!!!!

  • bec ause wen they go mainstream they trade songs like this for songs like whole child ago or the conversation is thats why

  • why shouldnt they go mainstream? "weve all got to make a living"

    mon the biffy!!!

  • this is amazing, never seen a live performance of this song before but i love it! and i agree with downie123 that they have gone mainstream but who cares? most huge bands do that anyways and its because biffy are amazing! muse are another example of more mainstream stuff on a later album! but best scottish band ever! MON THE BIFFY!

  • Der Cult von Biffy Clyro wird hier verehrt.

  • Ich bin ein Berliner

  • Ich esse gerade ein Berliner

  • Yeah they are amazing, I got tickets to see them tom. Its going to rock.

  • mon the biffy greatest band ever

  • this tune changed me.

  • Simply amazing .)

  • i also agree with downie 123! puzzle is fantastic, bit different but still amazing!

  • Totally agree with you, downie123.

  • who gives a fuck if biffy have gone 'mainstream'! they are still fucking amazing! puzzle is a fucking fantastic album and if you can see that then you arent a real biffy fan and you should crawl into a hole and die!

  • best youtube music/video ever! i see it every day!

    thank you & congratulations

  • the more people who are in the biffy the merrier!

ill hate having to wade through so many people at gigs and it being harder to get tickets blah blah

but biffy are gonna do well from it and they deserve all the recognition and respect they get.

  • you cant always please the fans, they are writing what they feel and they deserve to get paid for their hard work, amzing musicians they rock fair play to them! at the end of the day you got to pay the bills any way you can, grow up.!!

  • the best biffy song and puzzle aint that bad to be honest!!!! come on guys its biffy for fuck sake!! they deserve some pennies from puzzle so they can go back to thier old ways!!! it'll be like when nirvana released nevermind!!! they went and did in utero after that is all ill say on the matter!!!

  • lol wht was markiboy on about?...great song tho!!!

  • to be honest, everyone's slagging off the new album. everyone seems to be annoyed that they have made it into the mainstream, and that they're not underground anymore, which obviously means they're not cool. but if you compare the new album to blackened sky, it's not all that different. you're never going to beat the first 3 albums but i think puzzle does a good job.

mon the biff, moan the biff, i am biffier than thou, i have seen biffy more times than you. etc etc

  • I wish I wrote this song! one of my favourite songs ever! MOAN THE BIFF!

  • fucking Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love this song!

  • sorri to hear tht, i see wot u mean the lyrics r quite touching

  • Love this song, specially the beginning, my gdad died last week and this song seemed to connect with me you know, awesome!! Mon the Biff!! Ahhaaa

  • deffinately my favourite biffy song. just went to one of their concerts in aberdeen and they played this and i sang as loud as i could every word throughout the whole song. i love biffy they are the best band on the planet!

  • Always been my favourite Biffy song... Amazing.

  • Bloody hell that's good

  • VOB was such a good album....it's a crying shame Puzzle lacks songs of such sheer quality like this.

  • I agree, Puzzle is good - but lacks that raw biffy sound. Too mainstream.

  • But to be fair, when the songs from Puzzle are played live they're as good as any other Biffy song

  • I love this band so much! I live in israel and I even cannot get their cd's here...I wish I could be on a live concert:(

  • yeah this is one of the best Biffy songs...

That reading video is amazing too.

  • Mon the biffy!

I want Puzzle now! Can't wait until Leeds festival!

  • i love this song. im going to see them later this month, the closest thing to a non contact orgasm i think.

  • ithink this is the best biffy song eva nd live is quality nice 1 4 uploading it bayo (1400 vewer) lol

  • have 2 say probably the best ever biffy song nice 1 4 uploading it (1400 vewer) lol

  • awesome. the version they played at reading a few years back is amazing

  • indeed

and of course bust tag the band with"best band ever"

  • How can I tag a band? :P

  • well you cant on youtube

but i suggest we tag them like farmers do cows

you know with a tag through their ears to show anyone who meets them that they are in the presance of true greatness

  • couldnt agree more

  • I think I might tag this with 'best song ever written by anyone'.
